Can someone answer this for me. If a potential number 1 picks agent told the top 14 pick holding teams the player would just go overseas if they picked him wouldn’t that be tampering? Like imagine if Wemby told every team with a top pick, he’d only go to New York or LA? I thought when you nominated for the draft you were agreeing to go wherever drafted?

Prediction: Ajay Mitchell will be in the rotation instantly and we will not see him play in the G league much. He's too NBA ready and his game is too polished just to play in the G. He's more NBA ready than Jones and Topic combined.

G G G G G G G G G G F F C are lineup lmao guess where going to only draft a position we had covered and then some SMH we will never get out the west with this lineup only way that can even possibly happen is if the shoot 45% every night n every series because when your missing n giving the other team more shoots off your rebounding you get the Dallas series again SMH Presti gained my respect back after the Harden trade that cost us at least 1 championship so I'm trusting the fact he got SGA DUB n Chet was a no brainer still he's drafted and dealt us back into another window and opportunity but I've seen how fast it can close so I'm hoping he doesn't waste yrs where that window I'd open I'm praying in FA he gets a couple of Big men to round out the roster to be a more complete team

Maybe that's also part of his strategy. Keep drafting guys younger and younger giving fans "hope" for future so he can stay at the job forever.

I’m really tired of fans complaining about Sam’s philosophy and saying we need more big men. The Thunder wee the second second youngest team in the league, only 2 years removed from the complete rebuild, and were the #1 record in the difficult western conference. I’ll say Sam knows exactly what he is doing and revolutionizing the game.

It's a legit concern for the Thunder fans that Thunders could slip from first to 4th or 5th next year. The Thunders are extremely lucky last year when all Thundes players are healthy all season. Plus teams also get better this year.

Plays in a weak Conference which doesn't get much exposure. His 3pt% wasn't good before this season & even this season his 39% came on low volume. His athleticism is fine but not great. He's a 3yr College player. That said I love the pick.

Because he played for UCSB and he's 22. That's the only reason. That's why Toumani Camara fell to 52 but ended up being a top 10 rookie last year.

When we drafted Giddey most of the fans, DTD crew included, didn’t like the pick. When he got hurt in summer league, it took until the season before everyone switched up

Of course, he doesn't now. And he likes Flip over Edey. He may not like Sga too cuz he is not an elite 3" shooter. I'm laughing...I think they thought this is like playing NBA 2k. Everyone who plays real basketball like Edey. Everyone who plays NBA 2k doesn't. Shaq gave his name to him calling him Zachille O Neal. When did u ever see Shaq give a shit about a collegiate/ rookie big? If it's just 3' shooting, teams do not have to hire all these expensive front offices or scouts. Just pick the guy who has the highest 3" shooting in college. Why Sam doesn't pick Jared McCain when he literally can have him at 12th?

Also why do we keep mentioning the 12th pick and not the other picks they made.No way okc should have drafted 3 guards we do not need anymore 6”6 and below players not saying get a big but we should have at least gotten a 3/4 with one of the picks we have 11 guys who are 6”6 and below that’s ridiculous.

Before the draft I was unsure if OKC would make more moves but post draft I’m with everyone saying this roster isn’t finished yet. Imagine if we still had giddey and had that hurdle to get over.

This roster changing Giddey for Caruso + IH is INFINITELY better... all the options and versatility that those two guys give you is massive, and you do not compromise at all the development of any young person, because both are disinterested players. I think IH could be our version of Draymond Green in Warriors for a couple of years.

It depends on what kind of extension he wants. He's got a year left so if he doesn't sign he'll be off. Good luck to him if he does. I've never hated a Wiggins game. In fact on the rare occasions he gets a lot of minutes or a start he puts up really good numbers.
