Oh no, Ford is trying to make a really good EV in Europe. Quick, let's find reasons to trash it.

Slighty wrong math. The premium connectivity is either $9.99 a month or $99 per year. For my own Uber use, if the bundle came to the Model 3, the charging alone would be worth it. My app says my last 365 days of use, I charged 10,049 kWh and I paid $1,449 (that’s $4,347 in 3 years); 19% at home at $0.18 per kWh, 35% supercharging at $0.31 per kWh and 46% Volta free level 2 charging. That means the bundle would make FSD and Premium connectivity be worth $653 for 3 years.

Almost like Biden didn't think "You led Mary, you led" would be without consequence. Looks like it's payback time.

Just a correction, the V4 SuC in Rennes, France @1:06:15 didn't open a week or two ago, we charged there 08.08.2023 on our last roadtrip around Europe, I checked the dates on my pictures to make sure. So it opened more than a year ago. Now you know.

26:37 If this were true Elon would not be exempt from being ‘Community Noted’ himself, yet he is. Wipe your eyes of the of the Musk, it is unappealing.

Your take on Elon and X is incredibly disingenuous. Imagine X was owned by an ultra-liberal billionaire who freely used it as his personal bully pulpit, would the right accept it as an impartial truth-seeking platform? I imagine the calls for boycotts would be loud and militant! Elon has re-tweeted and therefore hugely amplified untrue and highly inflammatory far-right propaganda about events in my country (the UK) and opined that civil war was about to break out. He was apparently unaware (or did not care) that we had a general election just a few weeks ago, which was a massive victory for a left of center party and the only party that could remotely be said to be close to the rioter's position won a resounding 2 seats out of 650. I have immense respect for Elon's engineering and manufacturing achievements, but in politics he is a dangerous ignoramus whose great wealth will no doubt insulate him and his loved ones from the hell he does his best to create for the rest of us. Elon needs to study some history, maybe starting with the legacy of Henry Ford or William Randolph Hearst. And I definitely prescribe "The Origins of Totalitarianism" by Hannah Arendt.

Unfortunately this will be the last episode I'll be watching....Being Elon fanboys is one thing but just repeating his bile without criticism is the end of the story...Used to be good entertaining EV news but now has joined the X mans rhetoric.... I was going to buy the new MY performance but will be looking anywhere else...! I wonder if im alone..? Ciao

We have seen 4 so far, all in North Caroline. Three of them in Winston-Salem, one of them was wrapped “Get you skin in the game” on the doors and “Noob” on the back panel. I saw in while my wife and were eating lunch, and ran out of the restaurant to take a picture. My wife and I have done a Demo Drive in a Model X which we both loved, AND got to sit in a Foundation Cybertruck. Oh yeah, as future Cybertruck owners, WE LOVED IT!!!

29:27 I think what he means when he says we readily accept human fallibility, isn't that grieving mothers don't grieve. I think he means that when a human kills someone in a car crash, nobody calls for humans to be banned from driving. But when a robot kills someone, that's exactly what'll happen. Also, as for people letting strangers drive around in their car... Uber only operates that way in the USA. Elsewhere it's just a taxi service, so they're professional, licensed, taxis. So outside of the USA we (Tesla owners) would be asked to let strangers drive around in, scuff, soil, wear out our car... probably get in with dog $h!t on their feet, and leave it stinking. It _could_ be difficult to get people to accept this.

You should stick to tech, science and company related posts of Elon on X. Till the election he will be spreading falsehoods, conspiracy theories and crazy political rhetoric which leaves a bad smell in the air here! We know we can never fathom why Elon does things until much later, but as of now we know Drumpf will be the worst America can do, so let’s not push that. Please. Thank you. 🙏

Elon has unfortunately gone too far with posting his opinions as fact. The situation in the UK is multilayered. There are routes of social inequality, but the racism is very real, and adding fuel to it will exacerbate and validate some adherent views. The migration situation is not the reason, the speed of processing of immigrants has caused the need for migrant hotels. Hotels that have been struggling to apply to be these migrate hotel, as it's guaranteed income. Where are these struggling hotels? In straggling areas left behind by social inequality. These areas don't attract business so end up only having essential facilities and nothing else to attract higher income people which would attract more businesses. So end up with high unemployment, and where does blame for that go? Easiest targets to see, immigrants, "who are taking our jobs". Which is incorrect on a national level. In reality the UK and probably the US need high levels of immigrationto keep the economy moving. There is blame in national and local government for decades not addressing this. The most unlikely demographic to have a chance as being a top 40% earner is a white, woman with non university educated parents, South Yorkshire. If you don't live in London or the South East your chance of a new business getting outside investment is greatly reduced. With a greater effort of distribution of wealth throughout the country may see this change. For instance Leeds has seen an insurgency or wealth in the last couple of years as banks in London realized they can part work from home and commute relatively easily to London. And in Leed their money goes a lot further than being in the traditional commuter belt, of home counties and South East. Hopefully with high income workers living there, they will see investment and more jobs in service and entertainment open up. Sorry for the long post.

The CEO of Uber is contradicting his company. Uber literally said during a corporate earnings report that Uber won’t be profitable until they remove the human driver from the company structure. They say the human driver takes a huge portion that could be profits.

Am I missing something, or is everyone really overlooking the possibility that every existing uber driver can become a fleet operator using unsupervised FSD? How many cars can an Uber driver operate at the same time now, before unsupervised FSD? (Answer = 1) Then, how many cars will an Uber driver be able to operate at the same time after unsupervised FSD becomes a thing? (Answer = as many FSD licenced cars as they can afford to buy) How are Uber & Tesla not going to benefit each other?

After hearing the interview, i never again use the name “Elon” when I want to get information or talk about Tesla or SpaceX. Elon has questioned environmental problems and appears to have no understanding of the surge that CO2 can reach in the atmosphere with the melting of ice releasing even more CO2. He said we still have 400 years to go ? It’s incredible to hear that ! You want any immigration guys ? You should make sure that there is no rising water then ! As a Frenchman, I put my left-wing values behind the fight for the environment in a capitalistic way (because your government is late, and even in France), but now, I realize, Elon is an idiot when it comes to politics and responds with basic apprehensions. He has a fundamental misunderstandings. The fear of responding clearly to the concerns of environmental activists makes more sense now. He don't give a f** ! He just want a good press.

Elon already sued organizations for exercising free speech and it was thriwn out on first amendment grounds. And he will lose this one. GARM did disband but they will defend the lawsuit. Elon himself violates his own TOS repeatedly. Companies would be unwise to advertise on Twitter after Elons war on free speech. I couldn't imagine any company would want to advertise on a platform that celebtates a man who instigated a insurrection against our country and has been adjudicated a rapist and felon.
