I had my parents buy one of these devices for my 9th birthday and it was amazing, i'm shocked nobody even tried this again because it simply just worked at home, in the store, on a car ride (aka moving vehicle), at the mall, etc. you could just turn on & tune in, and the device was ultra-sleek & thin w/ an internal antenna (like a smartphone), too bad the entire thing was discontinued in Early 2011 but i get why, qualcomm is historically a semiconductor chip company and failed trying to break into the media business that resulted in some big losses but was pretty much a wash when accounting for the spectrum sale to at&t

The E is better than the S because of reliability, the chances of it having a hardware failure is a lot less likely than the S.

I love that this was in my recommended videos after 15 years hahha, I recently bought a 17" 2009 macbook pro and it works quite well especially as it's such an old device by anyone's standards, it runs Monterey quite well with open core legacy patcher and can dual boot with Windows 10 which was the main reason to buy it along with the screen size and optical drive, you can use an SD card in this as long as you have a usb thumb with the sd card slot adapter
