I am guessing you have the Vault-Tec Workshop DLC? You will need be level 20 or above for the ‘Vault-Tec Calling’ quest to start, this will open up the vault.

This was done on PC and the only mod used was Place Everywhere: www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9424 The objects that cannot normally be built (such as the chains, wood posts) were added using the _placethere_ console command followed by the objects Form ID which I have listed in the description.

You need to complete the exploring Vault 88 quest and find the control boards for the other sectors.

Great to hear you have been using and enjoying the blueprints, thanks! The Contraptions Workshop DLC provides elevators that you can build in settlements, unfortunately they can’t be operated by the settlers so I prefer not to use them.

I build using the Place Everywhere mod which allows me to disable physics on any junk items I use as decoration.

It’s done using the Place Everywhere mod and enabling its ‘Extra Object Selection’ mode.

The blueprint has to be imported using the holotape provided by the Transfer Settlements mod, currently the Transfer Settlements mod does not work for the ‘next-gen’ version of the game.

It’s not done using a mod, they were all added using the _placethere_ console command followed by the objects Form ID which were looked up in the Creation Kit. Objects spawned using this method cannot be moved normally without using additional console commands which can be really fiddly. I get round this by using Place Everywhere and enabling its ‘extra object selection’ mode, which allows those objects to be moved as normal settlement objects 👍

I have long since stopped ‘playing’ this save and just use it for building now, as such I add all my resources via console commands. Otherwise, you would need to go out to various locations and scavenge the resources you need, with some locations resetting after a certain number of in game days allowing them to be ‘farmed’ for junk. Alternatively, if you have a good method of making caps buying shipments from vendors is a quick way to build up a good pile of resources.

I build using the Place Everywhere mod (PC) which allows me to place objects even if they clip into the terrain which I think those stairs do. I believe the Place Anywhere mod for Xbox has an option to disable global collision which would allow you to do the same. The blueprints require the Transfer Settlements mod which is PC only due to requiring the script extender.

The settlers can path up to the bar with a little help, once they are on the lower staircase they can find their own way and seem to be able to get down without any help. I suspect using a mod such as Settler Sandbox Expansion to extend their pathing radius would probably fix that.

@@sungarcia421 Yes and no, it really depends on the individual mod and what they do. A lot of simpler standalone mods worked just fine after the ‘update’. On PC any mod that required the script extender was broken until it got updated, which then required the authors to update their mod to work with that new version. Theres a couple of mods that I use that I am still waiting to be updated (Buffout 4, Transfer Settlements and Place Everywhere), but as I had the update blocked I can still thankfully use the existing mod versions without any issues.

Thanks! I did say the latter parts of the build start to get more interesting 😉🤣. I must admit this is a little out of my comfort zone as I prefer to build much smaller low key settlements, but still very pleased with how it turned out and don’t think it looks too out of place.
