To be honest, when i first got Protea last year, i subsumed off her anchor because i was lazy. I'm glad to see Nash is showing people how to maximize its potential

I dont understand this build. How do topaz shards help Larkspur? And how the f does that corufell hit 40-90mil damage??

The Larkspur buffs artillery through its innate radiation. In turn, the Larkspur gets its damage boosted by the blaze artillery heat status, increasing its damage output since the heat damage combines. Status effects, Viral, Condition Overload, and a good riven.

Unironically this is a perfect example of why Temporal Artillery will be a very forgettable augment when it drops. A single Artillery stacked up to x36 for its short lifespan of 4.2s and decimated everything in sight, granted thanks to body multipliers on ragdolled enemies by Void Snare but regardless, anyone who knows how to use Protea well probably does this already, why would I need a single turret that _can_ last 125% longer but will not 'combo' past x20, therefore scaling way worse? Pablo (not me) seemed concerned he'd have to nerf this "in 2026" but Protea can spam turrets all day long and this has never been a problem, so either he was just joking about nerfs, or they truly haven't seen the full potential of some frames / abilities. Between this one and Qorvex's, which imho should have been a baseline functionality because by he suffers against high level armoured/shielded enemies and adding in a helminth strip almost feels necessary if you want to go Crucible Blastin', I'm not looking forward to these augments besides Dagath's which gives her a very different gameplay loop to other frames. Sevagoth is already a monster so spreading Sow, if it doesn't reset the timer like does Recrystallize, isn't a big deal either. Excellent work as always Nash, can't wait to see your coverage of Jade & what you cook with the new arcanes.

most of the time, I get the music from the actual game files. Usually, they have named something weird or have an alias.

@@nashprimeMost if not all of the songs are listed in game where you change the BGM music, with song names as well as composers, vocals if applicable, etc. I believe this was a start menu theme for one of the patches, so it should be with the rest in there.

I got Protea Prime recently. I wasn't interested in her kit , but this build made me want to try it . Unfortunately im stuck on my Switch so i cant handle this pace with a controller. But im gonna make this build anyway and take my time fine-tuning it.

I'm not sure why I'm getting this video so late, but this is as always beautifully crafted. I've been tweaking this build to my personal playstyle (was going off Wisp Finale video) and we landed on pretty much the same build on your current one minus the temporal errorsion cause I dont have it lol. I was thinking as I was playing why not just use that invis arcane to further enhance her survivability since im already assassinating the map lol. Beat me to it. Looking forward to Dante X Kullervo videos!

See what all of yall wont know is that brief respite and auger mods kill proteas OP shield gating as it overrides proteas shields with worse ones if that makes sense look at Gaz ttv vis on it

make sure you dont use augur mods or brief respite on her because instead of getting the max shield gate from her 1 it uses the brief respite or augur mods shield gate so basically you'll have like a 2 second shield gate instead of 5 seconds other than that amazing build man

@@ThunderChoco For me, personally, it doesn't matter if it was 2 or 5 seconds. I don't see a timer showing the invincibility, so I immediately use Vazarin Dash + Guardian shell on shield break.

@@ThunderChoco Because if you aren't going to die anyways (due to protective dash), it makes more sense to use Augur Reach for more range or Augur Aecrets for more strength to boost the build. Otherwise, you would have to stick with the 145% range. Or, use Overextended and compensate for the loss of strength some other way.

Even though I don't feel this issue personally, I'll pin your comment so others know. Just swap mods with growing power or steel charge, hopefully this issue gets fixed in the future.

This is why I use Primed Redirection and Arcane Aegis on Protea. It is MUCH better than Shield Gating.
