At the start of the Indianapolis 500 mile race they do these flyovers and they fly over my house heading west out to the race track in Speedway - it is the most awesome thing I have ever heard and seen - it literally takes your breath away. This last May 2024 they flew over my house - out there and back about 3 times because the race was delayed because of weather. I think they take off from the Mount Comfort airport which is east of my house.

I liked the B-52 the best. But, my favorite flyover has to be the SR-71 Blackbird flying over the international expo in Vancouver, Canada. It flew pretty low and slow over the expo. Also, it’s by far the loudest plane I’ve ever heard.

The most rarest thing to see is a Blackbird in the air, and you don't really see those planes. They fly as a top secret mission. When they fly by its a wow chill thing to see.

Pilots have to have a certain amount of fly time to keep certified, hence the fly overs or they could just fly around not giving tax payers the views.
