Please 🙏......I need help I am really confused I have a Roland G-70 which has worked quite well for my Duo but the power supply is finally having probs ..well it is 19yo so, I have been looking at the Genos 2, Korg PA-5x and wondering also, could I build my own Backing on a Phantom ..sounds like a a lot of work but not sure ..also saw a video showing that the backing and variations are very song specific on the PA5x & Genos 2 which may not be my repertoire ...any suggestions? I am in Australia and it is almost impossible to get any of these keyboards to trial ..they just are not in any music stores in Sydney Australia the stores tell me they are large ticket niche market items and don't want to have them as demo keyboards that are hard to then sell. I hope you could help Grant🙏

As a musician keyboards are my specialty also the genre which is the envy reggae which the band plays a lot as we are from Jamaica. Request after request from numerous demonstrators of both the genius 1 and 2 to do some reggae styles I do a one man band and reggae/sica/Calypso are essential. Before I blindly purchase would appreciate a detailed demo of reggae like you do for other genres and styles thank you very much

Zakedoo Awesome demo thanks. Also, I noticed you think about music and like Country like I do. Agree Harmonica always tends to sound a bit too weak, so not my favorite but Guitars blow me away. I'm still waiting for my G2 but it's ok because in the meantime I get a blast watching your videos.

I own and still use as my master keyboard in a very sophisticated studio my General Music WK6. It’s carrying 2 banks of 8 midi ins and outs and controlling about 24 synths and drum machines in my studio. I believe Ketron is using the same General Music everything and from time to time the General Music will do the same. It has some of the same issues Ketron has so I don’t think they were able to fix this since the 90’s.

You play great but when you play the Geno's Two the pianos sound much better.

Some great styles in entertainer and I’m starting to work out what many of them are intended to be.

I tell you , even through the storms , good true artists like yourself makes world 🌎 more peaceful.

Great style. Great video Leigh. Udo Jürgens is one of the greats. From memory, he won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1966 or thereabouts with Ma Chérie - an absolutely great ballad made popular again a few years ago by Helene Fischer. There is a great video on KZfaq of her singing it to him. Keep up the great stuff Leigh.

Hi Leigh, I currently have a tyros 5 and have a lot of wav songs, probably around 300 songs on my hard drive. Will my wave sound the same on the Genos 2 or better and will I be able to stores them on the Genos 2, thanks 27:35

Hi Leigh - Is there a way to save a playlist song style to Registration memory. I know that we must always use the USB for the Yamaha playlist that is for Genos. But if there are 1 or 2 song styles I want from the oldies can we save this into Registration memory?? knowing the USB still has to be inserted ??

Just another brilliant way to make music on that wonderful keyboard. One thing that I’m surprised hasn’t migrated to the modern instruments is the option to change registrations with a foot switch like the old Yamaha HS8 used to have. Maybe I’m talking mince!!
