I just tried chrap mud tires fir tbe first time last winter. $520 for a set of Forceum MTO8. Very happy with them. Good on & off road, & in snow. Quieter than my bfg km3 were. They wear faster but dollar for dollar they are great .

do i need aftermarket lugnuts if my stock lugnut fits the aftermarket wheel?

I had both and it's a crap shoot.Work truck has beads and drives nice .New bf's on personal f 150 and beads did nothing. I couldn't stand it after 1000 miles went back and had tires dismounted beads removed and balanced with weights and now it's perfect.So what do you do?

Haha we are approaching early 2000s area, when they went overboard. “DUBS” then spinners, then 26’s… There should be decent aspect ratio on your tires, especially for our “4wheel drives”. Not only was I not impressed, I was disappointed with the x-comp tires. They were slicks on driven over snow. I was 3rd in line to drive over fresh snow and was all over the trail. Those tires are okay if you have a hot knife and a creative imagination.
