About 42 years ago when I was in the army stationed in West Germany, me and one of my roommates were in a bar (no surprise there 😀) when I was spinning a 1 Deutsche Mark coin on the table. I held this coin, less than 1mm smaller than a U.S. quarter, on edge with one finger and flicked it hard. It was spinning really fast, moving around the table, ricocheting all over the place. I remember that it bounced off an ashtray, an empty half liter beer bottle, and also a half liter mug IIRC. It finally came to a rest right in front of me, standing on edge, WITH the eagle standing right side up. We wee both so stunned we didn't say anything for a moment, then we were both like, WFT? Sarge has a way better memory than I do, so he might recall all of the stuff it bounced off. I'll ask him the next time we talk if I don''t forget.
