Those cracks are preventing the fuel system to build the correct pressure for the system to operate correctly. That may have been why you thought the high pressure pump needed to be replaced. When I buy an older car, i automatically change the gas cap.

I’ve had the hub come apart when doing that. Cutting and knocking out a wheel stud and pushing it out with a bolt and nut is better.

I have this issue on a 2002 AZM engine which is an inline configuration! Hans will sort it when Im next on holiday but for now I'll keep topping it up and hope that it doesn't get too bad.

Oof when I did mine, I had to do piston crowns too. Low oil, timing jumped, valve lifter/rocker disloged and disloged the intake cam. Most valves were done and smacked the hell out of the piston. 🫠 that battery is a good idea!

I have the same lithium-ion jumper pack and I love it. I've had for about 3 months and used it a few times. I live in Chicago, so it gets pretty cold here. I noticed it works best the closer it is to 70 degrees. It was 5 degrees last week and my car wouldn't start with the pack connected, so I put the pack inside my jacket, sat inside the car for 15 minutes, and let my body heat warm up the pack. I tried it again and car started right up.

Could you possibly test the startup function?

Strectched timing chain and failed tensioner GUARANTEED. I have the same car and had to put all new valves and timing components.....these are notorious for that..... right around 100-150k

Fantastic video mate....i had to replace condenser the connection was fused to the condenser and after every effort to remove carefully FAIL it snapped.....and it is 1 full pipe from the condenser to the low pressure connector....any chance you know how to remove and replace that pipe thanks in advance

I simply buy my Milwaukee tools from HD and buy the extended warranty. Then all I need to do is return it back to HD and it is easily exchanged/replaced. I'd gladly pay $20/$50/$100 for a new tool after the manufacturer's warranty has expired. But I also don't beat the ever loving F out of my tools and I keep the boxes they come in.

Hey MR 2.0 tfsi god… question, so I got a 2011 a4 last year and it’s been doing it since i owned it. Normally never reaches optimal temp on the needle gage and it will drop even lower if I floor it to go fast. Has my thermostat been stuck open ?

If there’s 12-14vdc with enough current capacity the batter is not relevant to start or crank .. but I don’t think I’d charge an AGM VAG battery without an AGM device.. wow looks like a video is coming 🤞 (fingers crossed) with this head removal and valves, seals, rockers (maybe) hopefully intake VVT and cam are ok
