For God's sake, it is not an illness. It is a real life problem where the person goes through trauma all his or her life one after the other like a downward spiral that the only help that they get is from the God. Most often they suffer till death not being understood and not getting the help they pray for. May the God almighty hear us speak. 🙏🙏🙏

You know for me this question is irrelevant by the fact that it is neurotoxic poison. Even if they will not cause mania on every human, they for sure cause big damage for brain and whole body.

Ever so slowly the PSYCOs realize they need to get rid of their chemical BS. Just go with non-western lifestyle. It works. So I gave this vid a like - small steps I the right direction, better than bad dogma.

Trazadone just makes me sweat profusely. And thereby get zero sleep. So I stay awake 2 or 3 days at a time. And eventually pass out. But the insurance company won't buy that fact. So I'm stuck with it....

Having been misdiagnosed with this and drugged as such instead of Complex PTSD from scapegoating and narcissistic abuse, the drugs gave me suicidal thoughts, paranoia, and opened me up to further abuse cycles. i am disgusted with the psychiatric field. Worst drug pushers in the world. Those wearing the whit coats saying lets rewire your brain. Pure torture with no way of getting justice without further trauma. All i can do is hope there is a hell they go to and experience everything they've done to me.

Marijuana is neat but for bipolar people it isn't. I found my solution was complete sobriety and a holistic way of life not to mention a stable routine. I'm 35 now and was diagnosed when was 21 it took me years of fuck ups, psych wards, heavy drug dabbling, suicide attempts and TONS of research to finally take it seriously and to finally understand that this requires a certain format. Yeah it might not be fun or exciting but it keeps me on the straight and narrow. Now i feel more aware and resilient than I've felt ever. The quality of my relationships are tremendous and just my quality of life is great. I'm able to work through my depressive episodes and utilize my manic episodes for the betterment of myself and those around me. Don't get me wrong marijuana is a remarkable drug(it's a drug and to argue it isn't is ridiculous lol) with a neat benefits but i know for a fact that i never want to do it again. I've put too much work into this.

Chs feels like fighting death. Iv suffered with this for 21 years . Sweats Cramps Constant vomiting Weight loss Insomnia Drastic weight loss . Starts 24 hours after the last cone . And used to only last three days. Now it lasts 7 and I end up in hospital . With the " medical weed potency I'm very concerned for anyone whom tries to come off as it is up to 25 percent THC as opposed to 2 percent

Reduce carbohydrate intake, increase fat and protein. Antipsychotics don’t even treat schizophrenia, they just reduce dopamine, sedating the patient.

Just came across this interview years later after it's been put online. Bethany, if you ever read this comment, you are a blessing. Having the courage to come forward and spread the voice of so many fellow patients, with plain honesty and wit, in public helps all over the world. We must change narratives and overall stigma on these diseases. This keeps killing people, in many different ways. Out of shame or lack of proper medical care. To people reading this comment, never feel ashamed to get help and try clozapine, if other medications have failed. It can life-changing, as it did to me. Don't listen to this idea that clozapine would only be prescribed to resistant patients, other medications just don't work on the many other neurological and biological pathways that have been identified as faulty in this disease. And maybe new treatments will fill that void in a near future.

I see disregulation in sports every day. Hit a home run in the 4th inning of a 10-1 game, and the player tosses the bat, screams, pimps his home run all the way around the bases. Look at how Spacex in their live feeds in the audience, reacts to a positive launch experience as well. Screaming at the top of their lungs while flailing their arms in the air. Strictly from a scientific POV, I’m curious if this is normal. “Normal”

I am 39 and diagnosed BP 1 with psychotic features. I do take lithium as a mood stabilizer. Let me preface this by saying that I understand that everyone has different brain chemistry & some drugs that are good for one person might be ill advised for another. Anyway cannabis is very effective in treating bipolar for me. Particularly anxiety and depression. I would note that 'isolates' and alt-cannabinoids may not necessarily make things worse, but they do not help with anxiety as much as fully intact cannabis flower with all of its natural ratios of cannabinoids and terpenes. I experience no increase in psychotic symptoms and it has not yet induced a psychotic episode. Nor does it seem to induce mania.

Absolute hell! My body is incredibly weak from the constant need to pace. Muscles in spasm from trying to stay still. Propranolol and Klonopin barely working anymore. Going on 6 weeks. Took Latuda but only for a few weeks. Soon I will need help getting around, Can not drive anymore. Will this ever end? Hoping it's not chronic but am starting to loose hope. Should be improving by now!! Hand tremor also present. Might this be something else besides medicine induced akathisia? Neurologists and psychiatrists are not coming up with answers! Please make it stop!

Wassam bro you prolly going through it right now(whoever you are) visualizing thoughts that you've never thought or hearing things that you would never say in your head, like how i was. THE CURE IS TO STRENGTHEN YOUR PREFRONTAL COREX. For 3 years i searched for info and couldn't find anything until i studied more on the brain, until i found out, You have to strengthen your prefrontal cortex because that's the main part of your brain that keeps you intrigued in conversation, grounded on what your doing and where your at, and your memory. Your mind is moving so fast that your brain cant catch up with it, and you just lost alot of your intelligence and when i say lost i dont mean its deleted, i mean you have to shine light on it and grow it back to the way it was previously before and thats just the real. You gone be good mane just do these things. FOODS: Drink milk(helps develop mind), eat berries (they are antioxidants if you were laced or smoked some bad weed think of Lysol on germs) Eat fish (the fat in fish grows your grey matter) Nuts (builds brain protection). PHYSICAL THINGS: exercise( bball soccer or anything like that) Watch informational videos (ones you used to watch as a kid about things such as time, geography, shapes, colors, and distance THE BASICS FIRST) Copy and write from textbooks(word for word). Think of your brain as a above ground pool and the water inside is all of your brains knowledge, then out of nowhere something pops it and now you have to batch the pool and fill it back up with information. Dont look at this as a step back learn from this bro and do what i said because i didnt have anyone tell me this i had to fight this shit for 3 years im talking bout fucked up couldn't get my mind right to chase 100 racks but now im good cuz i beat it from doing all that and if i can beat this shit you can to nigga. If you real go copy and paste this so other people could get straight too. *Go get a $million and ALMSOT DONT COUNT NIGGA*

I experienced twice in my life substance withdrawal psychosis from marijuana. Both episodes drastically changed my life. I my grandfather was a schizophrenic and I was eventually diagnosed from schizophrenic to schizoaffective.. long story short I asked god to help me I didn’t know why I asked but eventually I got totally sober and my paranoid delusional thoughts have evaporated for the most part. To anyone struggling with addiction or mental ilness: you are worthy of having a good life I’m living proof that you can.. 4 years and counting.. 🙏❤️

A young lady I know, let's call her Elaine, happened to find herself overwhelmed with feelings of resentment and hostility for her friend, let's call him George. She felt that George was somewhat of a loser and that she was the one who deserved to be married first. She also happened to mention to me that her friend had wondered if going to a prostitute while you're engaged is considered cheating. His feeling was they're never going to see each other again so what's the difference?

I can confirm and attest to this. I stopped just in time, i was clearly demonstrating signs of physchosis induced by cronic cannabis use. I was mixing with tabbacco in spliffs. Smoked for 1 years morning to night and had i not quit i belive my life would have been very different. The withdrawals and pannick attacks after i stopped only confirm this. You can believe it and take heed or you can carry on using smoking away your body and life till you reach that stage of mental health issues. F around and findout like i did.
