This unit works awesome. I used it for heating and it never quit on me. It is the cheapest ay to hat myhome. It also keeps thehouse nice and cool for very cheap. I burned firewood only before getting this heat pump. My highest power bill in winter was $150 more than normal in the dead of winter. It is actually cheaper than buyng firewood. It never quits You have to do a 1/2 hour cleaning once a week when using AC. I clean my filter once a month. I have had no issue with it. I also have it hooked to my cell phone so I can control everything like the remote while I am away. I was away for 10 days in February - March this year and it never skipped a beat.

@@Tobinindustrial thanks for the quick reply, will definitely consider this unit, I’ve found out they are actually rebranded Senville units and seem to be fairly good quality. It’s a pretty big purchase (looking at a 28,000btu unit) so I want to make sure it’s worth the money. House is currently heated by a fairly new electric furnace on first floor (hot water radiators) and electric baseboard above, we just moved in but was told the electricity bill is pretty high in the winter, would like so,etching more cost effective. Thanks again!

Sounds like the flexed metal that pops with heat to turn off the kettle is not set properly. Can you hold down the button to make it continue to boil?

By the way, It is normal for a kettle to stut off automatically once at the boilimg temperature. I just thought iId mention that but I am sure you know...

@@Tobinindustrial lol ye I know once reaches boring point it's automatically shuts off. I've got it working properly again now doesn't flick off until fully boiled. I think was loose connection cause I didn't do anything really just twiddle with the wires.

I hope so, too. It did a lot of running but, ofr the second time now in a few hours, it was generally quieter. Maybe it is working... Time will tell. Maybe two motherboards will be up for sale on eBay soon. It was a good 2 months of solid troubleshooting and I do appreciate all your input. We cannot say we did not give it a good try.
