We have a nest on the front porch. When my wife goes out to water her flowers, she gets dive bombed, so I tag along with a metal dishpan and bang on it until the flowers are watered. It’s not a perfect solution, but offers some relief.

This my 2nd year doing some organic, in northeast Nebraska. Still a novice, and still trying to adjust my cultivators properly…I’m gonna hopefully be putting in winter wheat for the first time after soybeans this fall. I have zero experience with it…but I figure it is looks like it’s doing poorly I can always cut it for hay. Your videos are a big help for to learn and to improve

Come to our Aug 3 tour and see adversity in action 😂. I think this has been my most challenging year in the last 30 🤔. Wheat is normally an “easy” crop.

Looks great , we are dry as a bone , rains just keep going around us , I pulled the plug on organic , local elevator is not accepting organic this year , and I have a local trucking gig that has been keeping busy through the week. My notill beans look terrible , been in the ground 3 weeks and piss poor stand , funny thing is we plant a small patch for neighbor who doesn't like chemicals , his beens look great , planted in nice loose seed bed where we could reach moisture. His corn looks better than our notill corn and he has no fertilizer or manure applied , followed last years soybeans. He cultivates with his farmall H and mounted cultivator , and I've been impressed with his weed control. Good luck this year Jack.

It's always a challenge Rob. We can't catch a break from the rain ;) Got another 3" last night. Sad to hear about organic. I am reminded to keep costs low in this uncertain environment. Thankfully cow prices are high...Good luck my friend!

I plant soybean in 7.5” row, can I use rotary hoe 2 times after lemken Rubin disc a week after then plant soybeans. Otherwise I will probably destroy some germinate beans. Let me have some ideas from you. I don’t not want do some cultivation after plant.
@GeigerFarm12 күн бұрын
Don’t rotary hoe when beans in hook stage. You will damage more with the tires than the hoe! Hopefully you have skinny row crop tires and a wide hoe.
@danielw336912 күн бұрын
How you avoid to kill soybeans?
