I purchased a direct plan from an AMC by going to their website and when I checked the statement it only shows a "stamp-duty" nothing else deducted. Do you mean that the NAV is less with whatever percentage less than the actual? if yes why does it not reflect on the statement under "Expense Ratio" head. I always thought there is no expense ration charged what so ever if I buy MFs by going to "Association of mutual funds India" website choosing the "Direct plan" option, or even better the "MFCentral" website which is formed by SEBI where investors can see and purchase MFs from any AMCs for no commission & expense ratios. And, of-course by purchasing MFs from the AMCs by going to their website which I did. Please clarify. Thanks in advance :)
