this scene was so brilliantly written. see the love triangle where cristina ,,wins'' and teddy ,,loses'' simultaniously with the organ donor story, where one life is saved which is the best day for the patient yet for someone else it will haunt them as the most tragic day for the rest of their lives. the same story can be either a comedy or tragedy, it depends on your role. and then it was perfectly tied together with a classical christmas song which is a happy one and as much as you want to celebrate crowen and the ongoing patients story the wreck that teddy is and the cries of that man create a contradictional bittersweet feeling between choice of music/story

Here's the thing with this love triangle. Both Amelia and Christina pretty much allowed Owen to be with Teddy if they wanted. Christina told Teddy that if she wanted to be with him she can have him just so she can learn from Teddy and be on her service permanently. Amelia said to him that if he wanted to be with Teddy he can have her that it pretty much would take him off her plate. Everybody is dogging out Owen for being who he is but what about how these women are treating him? He just wants to be loved and appreciated and wants a family. It's not alot of men that ask for that and is hands on and they are throwing that away.He said here that he has always loved Teddy but he never expressed that because he was always with somebody. I jst feel like him being with Teddy would be that she's the fallback girl because he can't be with who he really loves and that's Christina and Amelia.
