I can’t find half breast on the bone with the skin in the grocery stores. I have to go to the butcher and get it there. I wish Costco would sell chicken breast with the skin on. But it sure looks yummy 🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐾🔷🔵↕️

I've watched other tests of Evaporust vs vinegar. Evaporust does work quicker and does a better job than vinegar, but at $30, vinegar makes more since for those of us that don't need such products very often. However, its important to be careful with vinegar. Apparently, if many metals are forgotten for 5 or 6 days in vinegar, one usually returns to disolved metals. I suspect Evaporust doesn't attack the metals as harshly.

When separating egg whites, I suggest separating the two eggs first and not holding the egg over the bowl you don’t want the yolks in. For this recipe it wasn’t crucial but others it is. Love your videos. Thanks. 🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛💙🩵↕️

The reason you should add salt to the water, despite what your wife says, is so the noodles don't stick to the pot.

Listened to the to rest of this live this morning. Such fun. Love the frank respectful conversation. Ive been on the internet since the beginning too. Just dont cotton to drama that can happen in fb groups. This is a saying that my bro shared with me -“It’s a gift from the universe when troublesome people stop talking with you. It’s like the trash took itself out.”

As humans we love a clean break, but I suspect the transition from RM to Century was anything but neat and orderly. I would be willing to bet they were both on sale at the same time for a while as well

Yum! I had a long hospital stay with stay in physical rehab this last year. Then once home lots of Door Dash. The positive gift in this is that Im so enjoying feeling better and cooking simple delicious things at home. My cast iron and enamel cast iron are so fun to cook with. Sharing this recipe with my sister too. She has three hungry teenagers at home. They all love to cook. Ill report back if they make this. Im making it on Sunday. Have everything. Will make great lunches to pack for my husband.

Watched for a while on a break from work last night. Lots of fun. Learned a bit about bsr. Dont have any of these pieces yet. Love cooking in any pans I have in my kitchen. Will be fun to see if I find any in my travels in my local area. Im enjoying vintage and modern cast iron. I grew up using Griswold and Wagner that my mom was gifted as wedding presents. She grew up and lived in the area around Erie, Pa. I didnt know that they were cool because they were Griswold. I just know that they set the elusive performance bar ive been looking for when cooking. She loved and took care of her pans. Lots of great cooking for a big family. Im on the hunt along with my sisters to find versions for our kitchens at the right prices.

I’m not saying I agree with the guys sentiment, but he when he was referring to “early humans” I don’t think that includes ancient Roman’s. I imagine he was referring to hunter gatherers.

I've got a small skillet marked 5 C I'm guessing BS&R?
@castironchaos6 күн бұрын
Most likely yes. All of the major cast iron manufacturers put their own unique markings on their pans, even if they didn't include a manufacturer's name. The 5 C means you have a #5 sized pan with a mold ID of C.

Take a reallllly good look atso at the LIP of da pan. Some smooth allllll da way up, some have a thin rim, some have a thicker rim-most like those 1s are transition or century. Just throwing my observation of em.
