The coffee can lid is essential, isn't it? Don't change a thing. Otherwise, you'd have to lash it down somehow, or fasten the inlet pipe the the cover/can. I think it's just dandy the way it is!

Good job!! Thanks for sharing. I found that Folgers plastic degrades in the sun unless I spray paint it. So a quick shot of spray paint might do you good for a couple of years.

UST GET WINDOW SCREENING AND MAKE IT INTO A REMOVABLE FILTER SCREEN this way if you get torrentia downpours of rain it does not just get pushed out the top . I have used it on all 8 of my rainbarrels and use cow manure tea to fertilize my plants

If you look up the definition of the word "ingenuity" in the dictionary, you'll see Beth's picture illustrating the term. On a separate but related note, if you look up "type A personality," same dictionary entry. Beth likes words such as "achievement" and "accomplishment." To her, words like "can't" and "wait" are four-letter words.

All of your bunnies are so pretty! Comparing from a previous video the wood pallet floor is much better for their feet compared to the wire that they were on previously. Keep up the good work!

@ PapaPepper, Have you ever let your snake gourds go this far? I've seen you harvest them for frying and letting some go to seed, but never seen any that have aged this far along. Are your gourds not the same as the snake beans?

Rather than using the can opener, use the top of the knife, not the end, to break the seal. By using the can opener, you are potentially putting bending forces onto the lid, which, if not careful, can damage the lid and make it harder for the lid to seal to the rim of the jar.

With that tight seal you probably don’t need to screw on the cap. I read Some don’t. It would be nice if it automatically shut off vs watching the timer.

This is the second video I saw about your rabbit litter, & I noticed one thing: although you have several rabbit cages, you haven't put any kind of cardboard or wooden sheet on their floor. You do know that rabbits don't have padding on their little feet like cats and dogs, right? Yet you keep them in cages that have wire netting for their and their babies' flooring. Imagine how much their feet would be hurting. I think you are all about breeding rabbits, but actually don't know or understand much about taking care of them. I also have two little pet rabbits & before we brought them into our home, we made sure we had soft, rubber bedding & non-furry pet blanket for their pen before we moved them in. You should do something for making the floor of their pens & take good care of them, they are very delicate animals.

awww sorry about the babies it’s so sad 😞 Maybe a rodent got to them.Were you able to save the one that made it?I myself just found a baby cottontail while I was walking my dog.I put my dog away and went to find it to make sure it was alright because shouldn’t have been in the place I found it. I have him in my home now and he is eating great he is about 2 and half to 3 weeks still very small.I have been checking everyday for a nest other bunnies but can’t find anything.I have had rabbits my whole life and went and got everything I need for him.I will care for him until he is strong and ready to be released again.He is the cutest little baby I love him so much.I pray you were able to save your baby❤.

Could you please make a video on how you creat your soil please. I have rabbits and chickens. I know the bunny berries are a cold manure but do you mix it with the chickens manure?
@OvertonFarm
@OvertonFarm Жыл бұрын
I compost the chicken and quail manure. I keep wood shavings under them. So their manure composts even while underneath them but I also move it to a compost bin for at least a month or two before using it in the garden.

i recommend small screws+washer to tighten the wire to vent cover or even duct tape... don't force your flap closed like that it WILL cause a fire. if the flap is the issue u need to replace or bend it. best of luck!
@OvertonFarm
@OvertonFarm Жыл бұрын
What I'm doing is cramming chicken wire in there, not pushing the flap shut. The flap is rusted open. We will eventually replace the cover. The chicken wire is temporary.
