Yes hi thank you for the video but I have a question… what about the transmission filter? Could you do a video on the filter? Or it doesn’t need it?

I got pulled over once on that same bridge I was doing probably 10 over along with maybe 3 other cars but since I was in a mustang I got pulled over by another mustang but the officer that pulled me over busted a stupid maneuver just to get behind me and mark his lights for me, damn near losing control of his own car. That guy got what he was looking for because I had my daughter with me he got back in his car telling me to have a good day lol I still see him around from time to time. He’s a cool dude I guess that day he thought I was some 17 year old in a mustang looking for a lesson

Was the transmission fluid changed when you bought? Did you have the transmission fluid change? If yes, how many miles did you do it on?
@Travelingcarguy1
@Travelingcarguy1 17 күн бұрын
Transmission fluid on this Avalon was never done by the previous owner therefore I never touched it either. The transmission shifted great all the way to 350k miles but the engine was burning oil and my dad ran it dry so it spun the bearings and had to junk the car

When I changed my cv axle for my 2020 Toyota Corolla SE , I went to on Toyotas official parts website. Enter your VIN and they should have every part of your car with a ton of very detailed parts like nuts and bolts and such. I was able to buy online and have stuff sent to the dealer , and also went to the dealer and had them order from the parts department. They use schematics which are a bit confusing to look at , but they should have a part number. Also idk if they have older vehicles on their but worth a try

in Florida you can go up to 60 mph on a two lane road, the state maximum, shame on other states that maintain 55, i.e. Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky I understand, they're hicks, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa. in most western states and secluded parts of Michigan, it's 65 mph.

The RL may produce 300hp but it’s bottom end torque is practically non. It doesn’t produce that 300hp until like between 5 and 6 thousand RPM. I love my RL but they are dogs from a dig. Plus they weigh as much as a Lincoln continental so that doesn’t helps. Fuckin Japanese tank missiles lol

It will still be giving the same power when it’s done 400,000. I have a 30 year old Toyota that did 0-60 in 6.9 seconds when new and still does. Every day 2 to 4 times a day when I get on the highway I floor it and I’ve been doing that for 9 years now. Just maintain it and service it by the book and keep it clean and it’ll outlive you😁

I have a 2006 rl with 230k miles. She drives like a brand new car. It had a lot of issues with the interior such as ripped seats and a broken door handle, as well as slightly leaking some sort of fluid which I think normal for an old car, but other than those issues it drives like a dream

I have a 2000 toyota avalon...162k on the dash.. car started misfiring...took a while to find out it was the vvt selenoid... I'm about to change my motor mounts and my evap purge valve to get rid of my check engine light.... I will later change out my ac actuator to get rid of an annoying sound..other than that I am good...car rides great...at times it feels like I am floating😁 and with no payments that's the icing on that cake 😁 great update..thank you for sharing 🙏🏾💯

The Honda steering wheel cover kinda detracts from its luxury interior, Autozone has nice "leather/pleather" in tan/beige, and some with faux wood trim thatd 'd at least match nicely inside. Just my humble opion, otherwise nice reliable RL you have !
@stratdaddy
@stratdaddy Ай бұрын
I’m scared to pull the trigger on one of these because I’m scared of needing RL-specific parts and not being able to find them, at least without selling a limb. Can anybody speak on this? Is it not that big of a deal or should I get a more widespread model of car instead?
@Travelingcarguy1
@Travelingcarguy1 Ай бұрын
That was never an issue for me. This car has been really reliable but when it did need parts I was able to find them at auto part stores or online for that matter. Dealerships has many parts too. Many of the parts are closely related to other Honda products so that made it easier. Currently I got 350k miles on mine and still chugging along

This seems to be fairly prevalent with newer vehicles. 2nd new vehicle in last 2 years that had off center steering wheel. Just took my vehicle in today and it’s still off. Same as when I went. I’m guessing these techs don’t want to take the time to do this properly and they just slap it on the machine and if it’s within spec they call it good. Pretty frustrating when you have a new expensive vehicle and it’s off.

This gives me memories of my childhood car. My mom used to own a mid-trim Toyota highlander. The pickup of that V6 was absolutely insane tbh Back in the day I never used to appreciate the car because it was old, but now considering its performance, build quality and reliability I have started to fall in love with these 2008 highlanders just like my mom did too

A faint whining is from the transmission is normal as it ages but nothing too drastic. Mine is very faint but nothing serious. Anything too obvious would not be a good sign.
