Drove a 2024 SV trim as a rental. This is the most uninspiring vehicle I've ever driven. Feels ultra cheap, doesn't ride particularly comfortably and the materials feel like they were pulled right out from the budget bin. The CVT makes the engine loudly drone under load and the vehicle feels more sluggish than a 2011 Corolla we once owned. If I owned one, I'd have little confidence this vehicle would be reliable 3-5 years down the road. For a brand that advertises 'performance' and 'sportiness', this thing is an embarrassment.

Theres a "cheat" you can do. You dont even have to drain overfill. You can look up the specific initial fill amount, and just put that in. Theres no danger or damage in "overfilling" by 0.1 to 0.5 Liters. Under-filling is very dangerous while overfilling by marginal amount is virtually negligible, if even nothing. For 2018-2024 Toyota Camry it is 3.4 Quarts. Have been following this method since 2016 and never ever encountered any problems, no metal shavings or etc. Car runs and shifts fine

my family has always had Nissan vehicles, (3 first gen Xterras, a 2006 quest and a 2000 maxima) all of them were cheap and reliable, but as im shopping for a first new car, I can't go with Nissan as im afraid ill have transmission failure . however I've heard your cvt will be fine as long as you service it exactly when you need too.

Yes hi thank you for the video but I have a question… what about the transmission filter? Could you do a video on the filter? Or it doesn’t need it?
@Travelingcarguy1Ай бұрын
If the fluid is changed at the correct interval (60k miles) then replacing the filter is not necessary.

I got pulled over once on that same bridge I was doing probably 10 over along with maybe 3 other cars but since I was in a mustang I got pulled over by another mustang but the officer that pulled me over busted a stupid maneuver just to get behind me and mark his lights for me, damn near losing control of his own car. That guy got what he was looking for because I had my daughter with me he got back in his car telling me to have a good day lol I still see him around from time to time. He’s a cool dude I guess that day he thought I was some 17 year old in a mustang looking for a lesson

Was the transmission fluid changed when you bought? Did you have the transmission fluid change? If yes, how many miles did you do it on?
@Travelingcarguy12 ай бұрын
Transmission fluid on this Avalon was never done by the previous owner therefore I never touched it either. The transmission shifted great all the way to 350k miles but the engine was burning oil and my dad ran it dry so it spun the bearings and had to junk the car

Hello do you know where I can buy the bolts that were shown on the video
@PapiccinoАй бұрын
When I changed my cv axle for my 2020 Toyota Corolla SE , I went to on Toyotas official parts website. Enter your VIN and they should have every part of your car with a ton of very detailed parts like nuts and bolts and such. I was able to buy online and have stuff sent to the dealer , and also went to the dealer and had them order from the parts department. They use schematics which are a bit confusing to look at , but they should have a part number. Also idk if they have older vehicles on their but worth a try

in Florida you can go up to 60 mph on a two lane road, the state maximum, shame on other states that maintain 55, i.e. Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky I understand, they're hicks, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa. in most western states and secluded parts of Michigan, it's 65 mph.
