В метро как в музее. Всё дышит историей у нас. Хорошо, что мы сохранили эту историю, советское наследие грандиозно.

Peter, I wondered...since you are in St. Petersburg if you've ever considered making the trek north to the island of Valaam? I just finished a book about an American convert to Orthodoxy and his trek to Valaam in the early 1990s. It seems like a magnificant place. ☦️

That sounds super interesting, one day I'll go there, and to Vyborg as well, but it will have to be another time.

I’ve never seen kotleti with huge croutons like that. I’m not sure I’d like them. Do they still sell Russian invisibility sweaters? The ones that let you hide in front of those wall rugs. I’ve wanted to get one for years, but events keep preventing me, like the plandemic and US imperialism.
@petersfoodadventures3 күн бұрын
lol, the kotleti are very tasty, and worth trying. Will get a recipe out soon, one of my favorites! I haven't seen those invisibility sweaters, need to look into that! I love the wall rugs, but I'm sure my wife won't let me hang it in the house, need to put it in my man cave or maybe my banya one day!!!
@sjwolf38363 күн бұрын
I find cooking with croutons or making stuffing very difficult. The texture never comes out right. They’re either too crunchy or too soggy or both, lol.

It hasn't changed much really. I'd mention the burger sauce taste in the Big Tasty (now called 'Beef Tasty') which is kinda more bland, imo. Other positions remained unchanged. What's interesting, now McDonalds is called '' I'm '' in Kazakhstan :)

Peter, I don't know if you are familiar with Baklykov Live with Sergey based there in St. Petersburg. He goes into this store a lot. He usually takes viewers in at night. It's just as beautiful in the daytime as it is at night.

@TracieSmithpomeranian11 күн бұрын
@@petersfoodadventuresIt's beautiful at night. Especially at Christmas.
@petersfoodadventures11 күн бұрын
Yes, it is expensive, but it's not a regular grocery store (I have videos on that). Harrods Food Hall in London (I was shocked at the prices) and is super expensive for the typical Brit. This is for the rich Russians (and there are lots) and for tourists (kinda like Harrods but on a small scale).
