Thanks Alireza. Our product manager responsible for this equipment suggests to remove the displacement transducers after performing the test, just to be more comfortable while the Hoek cell is removed from the compression frame. Please consider that it is necessary to position the displacement transducers as vertical as possible. The knob on the magnetic holder can be used for small adjustments allowing precise inclination variation of the device. Extraction test for the specimen of hot mix asphalt shows the result is around 4, 03 % . This small percentage of bitumen solution. This mix shall be limited usage for ATB layer or pathway only.

All the deformations shown are very small. Is it able to test anything more than a 2mm rut before shaking to pieces?
