It does look dangerous right? and you’re racing through the streets at around 40kmph. But it was guaranteed safe, and the service made sure to have safety precautions

Is it hard to drive even if you just know the automatic driving which you just use your right foot for gas & break?
@aransamson26 күн бұрын
I think its easy to learn fast. It is just left foot for breaking and right foot for gas.

what are your thoughts on doing the recording 4k 30p/60M or 24p/60M? what are the differences? This is mostly for low light shoots, recording stand up comedy.
@aransamsonАй бұрын
Hey! I'd personally shoot 24p/60M for the look. The main difference is probably just the feel of the video, 24p will "feel" more cinematic and 30p will feel more "smooth". Either setting should be fine but i recommend doing a couple of test shots and watching them to help you decide which feel you like better.

Thank you for the video, what mic would you then recommand in doors then? And is there a possiblity to hide the wireless mic when the person is in an interview position, this big thing at the neck doesn´t look the best with the dead cat on it.
@aransamsonАй бұрын
One option is to connect a lavalier mic to the wireless transmitter. That should be easy to hide and also should be good for interviews indoors.

Hello, thank you very much for sharing this valuable information with us. I make sphere and egg shaped works from epoxy resin. When photographing these and shooting videos, the reflection of the softbox light occurs. I wonder if the polarizing filter can be effective on shiny surfaces such as glass. Does a polarizing filter work in artificial lights such as softboxes?
@aransamson2 ай бұрын
Hi, I think this could work. I haven’t tried it but I belive this could be a possible use case for polarizing filters. I will try to do an experiment of my own but please let me know if it works for you.

Very unique approach. I'm ordering it now. If it works, you are a magician. I suggest putting some Amazon link in the description, someone may use them. Great tips, Aran. Thanks.

Btw, I tried and it works. Unfortunately, I've got two monitors and the second one still creates a glare but the tip is very helpful. I can either disable the second monitor when recording or just accept a bit of glare.

Street videography is very much what I am wanting to do, so that was really helpful. Thanks Aran. I identify very much with how exposed and shy you felt filming people. I think this is what worries me the most. My difficulty is seeing how street videography fits into a package that anyone would want to watch. I guess i am try to capture 'atmosphere', and I can see how a good street photograph might do this. But how do I make say a KZfaq street video? I think I would need an idea of the end product to then choose what kind of clips, camera angles and subjects might work. I could for example see how a music video with street scenes might work.

For me! I preferred Fujifilm xs10 t0 Sony a7c, why because? Fujifilm fireware updates is constant and most of your complaints has been corrected in most areas. Only what you need is to understand Fujifilm auto-focus settings and know when and how to use it. And not to talk of 200mb video recordings and less rolling shutter of Fujifilm plus, in Camera raw converter.
