Pool on a decent table, unlike the bucket pocket version with aiming points on the table that Americans play. A bit of skill needed in this, unlike American pool where you just look at the pockets and the ball goes in, hits the rail yet still goes in, two balls, side by side fit in the pocket, no challenge in American pool compared to English 8 ball or snooker or billiards ( actual billiards with two cue balls and a red) or carrom billiards or the hardest game by a mile, Russian pyramids or indeed any other cue sport out there is more challenging than American pool. I really like pool as a game but I normally play English 8 ball as the ease of the American tables takes any real challenge out of it, so Chinese 8 ball is the perfect answer, the same game but payed on a table that requires a bit of skill, you can't just look at the buckets (sorry I mean pockets) and the balls fall in. This tests the players a lot more as they need to be a lot more accurate in this, use their skill to sink the balls and get out of hooks etc as the table doesn't come complete with diamonds for aiming points (there's even a full system complete with video tutorials on how to use the diamond system "

Is Chinese pool different than American?

Mark Williams is from Wales so he should have the Welsh flag next to his name rather than the British flag.

Have they always used Arabic numerals on the balls? Or did they start using them to make the game more accessible to Westerners?

I think you know the answer to that question

My 10 yr old could have cleaned them up 😂😂😂😂😂😂

No, they couldn't. It's a 9ft table, with snooker pockets, and 2.5 inch american balls. But you wouldn't know that, because you're a dunce.

Maybe the title should be 8-ball in China. Cause that's the same game I play here in the states.
@nervouspooper2 ай бұрын
it’s called chinese 8ball, the pockets are rounded but they use american sized balls so different enough from uk pool or regular 8ball
@PNorm2 ай бұрын
It's name is Chinese 8 ball. They use pool size tables, snooker table cloth and pockets and American pool size balls. It's their own game.

No, it's not
@therealthreadkilla2 ай бұрын
@@sonicdiablo8968 Maybe you're right, upon closer examination I can see it now. Here in the states we break a group of balls in the shape of a triangle and it's a collection of stripes and solids with one black ball, the 8-ball. Folks take turns potting stripped or solid balls, depending on what's chosen, in pockets and the last ball to be potted after all your balls are gone is the 8-ball. Obviously that's not what's going on here. P.S. Corporate wants you to find the difference between these two pictures.
