Geez Jill so sorry for you guys. My oldest daughter is 57 and she fell in her kitchen busted her ankle bones and she said her angle was hanging. A simple fall. She was in the hospital a week and it was swollen. They went in and put a rod and all to hold it till the swelling went down and they could do metal and all. She said I can't go home till we get this pain under control. She told me that if you are on blood thinner you can't take the meds for covid. That is what doctors I think told her. She is on thinners. Randy is so lucky falling because up in age you worry about clots. Both of you need not get on stools or anything. Take care of yourselves. I like to see your face in videos, but like watching you making things. Prayers for you both. Ever since my hubby had the clot in his brain he falls all the time. He had a pace maker put in because his heart rate was 49. With the pace maker its about 67 or so. He had to call the neighbor and his Dad who is like 86 or so and he had a pacemaker and should not have been trying to lift him. He is so lucky he has not broken anything and on blood thinners.

The best weight watchers program was from the 70s. I lost 20 pounds doing that and it was perfect. I also tried later in life to do the point program and it didn't do anything but 5 pounds maybe.

I loved weight watchers from the late 80's - early 90's, Quick Success, 123 Success, Fast & Fabulous, in general the exchange programs. The Vintage Weight Watchers is very similar to the 21 Day Fix program.

Hi Jill. Good to see you again. Geeeeeeeze. What a roller coaster you 2 have been on. I hope you’re both healing ❤️‍🩹. My hubby and I just got over a bout of covid but we had a mild case and our health care provider discouraged paxlovid. And wanted us to just treat our symptoms. Our temps never even got to 100 F. We are both back to normal. I’m thrilled you’re back to vegan. I’m basically whole food plant based but there is meat in our house which I will admit to eating occasionally. I can do without it . The husband needs a bit more convincing, but his consumption of animal products is much less than it was before the heart attack and triple bypass in 2016. I’d love to see your hands on videos as opposed to voice overs. Thank you. Prayers to you and the director for healthier times ahead.

Where do you get your raw cashews? I can only find small quantities and they are very expensive.
@Jill4Today
@Jill4Today Ай бұрын
Costco sells raw, unsalted, at a very reasonable price. Cashews do run more expensive than other nuts, but most recipes that call for cashews usually need 1/2 to 1 cup
@ingridscott91

Trader Joe sells raw cashew pieces; they are cheaper than the whole nuts. Since those get blended anyway, we don't need the whole nut. That is what I buy. :)

I'm so sorry to hear about all of this! I so enjoy your videos, but understand that you need to take care of yourselves. My husband and I have been very careful as I was diagnosed with cancer and a heart condition. The summer of 23 we took a vacation, and was mask free. Plan to do the same this year. 🤞 Doctors suggested that I mask up in the fall and through the winter. Please know that I am thinking of you guys, and wish you all the best! I hope Randy gets through this soon!

Hi Vicki. Thanks for your kind words. Because of my cancer and stem cell transplant, as well as covid, we'd been masked up since February 2020. Since Randy's covid, we're masking up a lot more, especially when shopping.
