Literally not 1 of those pointe shoes ever went remotely close to being over their box, if you want to learn pointe and/or ballet ALDC reeeaallly isnt the studio to sign up for, considering Abby’s *method* of screaming at parents for not sewing in headpieces as “it makes me look stupid putting a lazy number onstage & ruins MY numbers & reputation” *thats a direct quote* you think she’d be more worried about this situation but then the moms did always say Abby’s most evident quality was being a hypocrite which btw she used to constantly call the moms stupid but they got the definition of hypocrite perfectly understood whereas Dr Abby Lee Miller didnt understand the definition of ANY of the words in her quote when she thinks all headpieces rejecting their intended placement on the weeks pyramid is a more direct representation of those adjectives/verbs.. A dance school run by a woman charging a five-figure sum per student per year fee (and thats the bog-basic MINIMUM not including privates, costumes, competition entry fees so five figure for BASIC tuition) in the real world vs Abby’s delusional understanding, the one that’s ACTUALLY “look(ing) stupid putting a lazy number onstage & ruins numbers & reputation” thats the studio owner and dance teacher(s) is “training/correcting/approving” endangering students safety putting people on pointe and NOT protecting their ankles by having them continuing to go up on this partly on releve yet not over their box properly and not holding onto a barre while they perfect getting fully up there, their ankles aren’t supporting them because they’ve clearly not been trained by anyone with proper ballet instructor experience it’s SO negligent plus this is at the showcase so SHES CHARGING PER TICKET and so so SO many fans will attend and be desperate to be a student so will no doubt sign up for classes!!! THATS RUINING YOUR REPUTATION-LOOKING STUPID & LAZY ABBY NOT THREADING BLOODY HEADPIECES IN SMH… Like the *previously* golden child so you think you’d want her to keep dancing-competing-winning-crafting YOU a reputation cos lets be real theres F all else but the girls giving her one thats even 10% positive!! Make it make sense, the only relief is that the ALDC’s gone both in LA & now in Pittsburgh too😅

Ok let me get this straight. Dancer here, and @hearts44mary I agree. They are definitely NOT ready to be on pointe. They are not reaching there full releve and are not going up and over on there boxes. (pointe shoes) They acro in the ballet is ridiculous. I love the show dance moms, kendall and Maddie, BUT, that is just a pure example of putting kids in danger. They are not using ballet technique and therefore, not turning out, stretching of the knees which lead to injures. Their feet aren't even pointed like frrrr. I am just grateful that they are all safe and not hurt from doing inappropriate pointe work. I do love DANCE MOMS and Abby. They did produce an amazing show. And at the end of the day Im glad all the kids are healthy and happy in the present day :) Nice Video! Its really cool! :))

this is proof aldc isn't a classically trained ballet school. their feet are barely turned out, none of them are pulling themselves up, their feet aren't pointed, and they're rushing.

The fact that they aren't from a ballet -focused studio says a lot but they are fantastic despite that 💖 This is of course coming from a total wannabe 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

She’s obviously very new to pointe, this was a very beginner piece, which is good. There was still a lot of bourres which is hard and even the parts not a pointe it’s hard to not look like floppy duck feet! I’m sure lots of peoples first performances en pointe/beginners are like this.
