I'm completely out of the UT fandom now, but lemme just say that I've seen this piece of fanart so many times over the years and I've *finally* found the source!

My theory is the cat is your wounded inner-child, the part of yourself most hurt by the trauma you have been through, and that developed habits to try to cope. The last frame supports this theory because some days (at least, for me it is) it's best to revisit that part of yourself that developed those habits in the first place so you can slowly heal.

This randomly popped up my recommendations, kinda glad it did. I’ve been going through hell with my depression and this kinda made me realize cats really do represent depression. They sleep a lot and eat whenever they wake up just to sleep again or sometimes they don’t and all they do is sleep. Of course they still want attention but some only want a small amount, their claws are also like blades to harm yourself with, representing the cat doing that to itself with its claws was a good idea! People also ask normally if you have cats when they see marks on your body and normally you just say yes, even if you don’t. I’ve always been attached to cats and I think I know why now, I have a dog now but I’m still struggling, I still want another cat too.

ok so this is how i see this. in the frame after it says "loading.." you can also see the cat self harming. then it turns into a frame of self harm cuts on the actual persons wrists. maybe the cat is some sort of depression or anxiety and it latched on a person because it needs help, but it passed down onto that person and things got worse for both.

Depression is like a wounded anxious animal..it just wants to survive, and it often lashes out at you in fear. The best way to handle it sometimes is to nurture it and accept it. Like how they hugged the injured animal in the end. Neglecting your problems doesn't fix them nor make them go away..but paying attention to them and handling them no matter how much it hurts tends to fix it, maybe not fully but at least it becomes manageable.

It's so beautiful I understood it so perfectly well, it brought me to tears, I aslo had I small part of the illness I am thankful it didn't grow to much to have the illness at its fullest form, the sad thing is taht I'm only 10....I have been trying to fix it the problem is me miself I am the drawing I am depressed, I thank my online friends for helping me and I am thankful my parents also helped me I have been getting beter ever since!❤️
