Traded my Excalibur matrix 380 with c2 crank for a TenPoint shadow NXT ACU PRO draw. In my opinion the TenPoint Shadow is a much safer, easier to operate and better engineered crossbow.

Where can I get it in India

Yeah. 10point makes some nice bows. I’ll give you that but nothing can beat an Excalibur. The Excalibur Bulldog 440 shoot 450FPS stock and with the silencing gear on the bow the BD shoots 435FPS chronoed. It costs roughly $1399 and it also comes with a silent crank called the Charger ext. Your crank on your 10point would give you away to any deer that you’re trying to harvest. Forget about trying to take a second shot bc your crank clicking away will give you away easily. Your Stealth is only good for 380FPS and you spent well over $1,000 for the bow and mine shoots 70FPS faster than your crossbow and it only costs ~$300. Plus if you run into any problems with the strings with an Excalibur you can restring the bow right on the spot but you have to take your bow to a Pro Shop to get your strings and cables fixed. Then a couple weeks later you’ll need to go back and get it tuned again because of string creep. That’s too many trips to the Pro Shop for me. I would never go with a compound bow again. Recurves have been around for thousands so years and it’s more durable, accurate, reliable and it has the best “lifetime warranty” in the market. I’ve had to use the warranty because I got a splinter from a “accidental partial dry-fire” so it was my fault and it took them 5 days for them to send me a set of limbs to replaced the damaged ones.

Excalibur and Steam bow tech. Worth looking into.

What kind of shooting bench is thar? The XRT is a slick bow. Long power stroke. Mine shoots very accurately and hits HARD while being quiet.

What a let down all you hear is 470fps 470fps but every time someone is gonna use it to hunt it's 420-440 fps.
@pinshooter1
@pinshooter1 5 жыл бұрын
It's because the 470fps rating is with a 370gr arrow and I'm sure it would hold up but way too light for me. I'm shooting the Evo arrows and dressed they weigh 464gr. I personally wouldn't want a bow faster than this one. Not saying I'll never buy one but it's difficult trying to stop the arrows. I only know of a couple targets on the market that will. Big Shot and the Spyderweb "no speed limit" which is actually only rated to 450fps. As we approach the 500fps mark this year I think.....or at least hope...the speed will cap out.

Thanks, Pin. I think the shot videos always come out better when the camera is mounted on the stand (or bench). I tried mounting one on my bow and the vibration always makes almost impossible to see the arrow.

Nice bow but no way in hell I'd pay $2500 for a crossbow.Thats some expensive game meat.Maybe in 3-5 years when it loses 90% of it's value,I'll pick one up.

I understand. It's not cheap but it's also not cheap made. it's a long term investment for me.

What kind of acudraw you used sir. I don't have it I tried to buy it. Thanks
@pinshooter1
@pinshooter1 5 жыл бұрын
This one is the standard accudraw. You can get them with the accudraw50 but it's stiff to pull back IMO. You can also buy the accudraw pro separately but would cost enough that you would be better off getting the stealth NXT with the accudraw pro already on it.

Trigger is probably 3.5-4lb and some creep. There are better triggers out there but I think some trigger time with this and anyone can get used to it.

That's a nice bow but for the price point I'd go with a ravin that is shooting over 400 and has an integrated crank system.

Time consuming for a crank, just need an electronic assist with "quick load" but yknow they havent had one yet.

Hey boss you need to try out the Raven crossbows they are very lightweight compact cranking mechanism is built right into the stock so it doesn't bulge out like the one on the TenPoint and it has no rail for your serving to wear out on if you want to shoot a really nice crossbow give them a try

I have only held the Ravin, not shot it so I can't give a fair comparison. I haven't had much issues with getting all the Ten Points I've owned to shoot well. Put the right arrow in it, do your part and they shoot well.
