At about 1:07:30 Ricky mentions being at Ruby Valley Gun Club in Sheridan/Twin Bridges, MT. last spring. I partook, and enjoyed his clinic. I appreciate that he understands the importance of trapshooting history. I was quite pleased that he values, and recognizes the greats that came before. And, still being young he knows, or heard of quite a number of them. I love hearing stories of those guys that at that time were legends. I also enjoy your show.

Thanks for the podcast boys. I’ve learnt a ton from you. I just got back from the cardinal classic and felt proud with my performance. I made alot of my goals. What are some drills that I can do at my local club to train in consistency for next season? I really want to try for A and AA. I feel like I have the capacity, but don’t want to slip in the off season. Also, would you ever consider coming up to Ontario for a clinic?

I wear prescription glasses. Recently, I bought a pair of Cocoon fit overs for everyday use. They offer several different tints, Copper, Amber and Yellow. I'm just fixing to get back to shooting trap after 10+ years of not bearing able to shoot. Do you guys have any experience with or know folks who use them for clay shooting? At $65-75 per pair I thought I might give them a try vs. spending $600-700 for Ranger XLS's with prescription inserts. The lenses are polycarbonate. Any thoughts?

Look up Dr Richard Colo he’s the number 1 sports optometrist in the country. He’s come up with a mechanical way to measure eye dominance. Technology has changed so much in the way how we measure our eye dominance. I was a one eyed shooter for 25 mid 90’s handicap , stopped shooting for 12 years and came back to find out my eye dominance had switched to my right eye . It’s been a battle to learn to shoot with 2 eyes but I’m not as fatigued and I am not surprised by quick targets. I can hold a higher gun and not loose the target. 🎯
