i prefer the green. its brighter esepecially in daylight. have over 1k rounds on one already and zero issues.

wow that is surprising to hear!! ive heard nothing but good things about their customer service!! even one story where the owner of company flew out to work on a guys gun in person lol. sorry you had that experience man. hopefully an isolated incident.

@Targetacquiredtv haha yeah not my experience. What really got me was how rude they were as well. After spending 2 grand and waiting 6 months they would be helpful and kind. Definitely will not be ordering another one like I had planned

I call BS. The wait time just recently got up to 24 weeks. Like, within the 60 days. Anyone before that didn’t wait 6 months, as you claim you did. Also, everyone posting pics and I don’t see the issues described, nor have I heard of them. The customer service is also polite. Nothing you said matches up with every other customer experience story

the one i have on my 2311 has over 1k rounds on it with zero issues. i run it in matches if that says anything. i talk about it in my latest long format review of the 2311 compact.

thanks again man. btw i was born in 1987 too! im considering porting mine as well! ideally id like to get a 5 inch and port this one. but also considering getting the ported pro. but that o sight is legit man!! over 1k rounds on this one and zero issues. glass as big as holosun comp but where the comp is wide this one is tall. so its more streamline with the slide.

those are my two favorites man. its super close and a tough choice for sure. but the OA 2311 has my heart. really wanting to get hands on a 5 inch version and compare its perfomance to the 5 inch platypus. as of now, platypus for matches. 2311 compact for range or carry.

@@ddd910m4 they are. theyre both more unique and have more features. they really thought of evertyhing when designing these two platfoms.

Not sure which part youre referring to. the gun doesnt go into slide lock due to the mags i was using. so if it went click, no bang at any point in the video, it was empty.

i appreciate you tuning in and am definitely flattered lol always happy to answer questions and talk 2011s. so im running a light bearing blackhawk omnivore. it works with all my guns and inexpensive so thats my main holster for range trips and even uspsa matches. for iwb i run a tier 1 msp molded for tlr1 and that too fits all of my guns since i run full size lights on all of them. and i havent tried taylor freelance yet but have heard good things from a few people now. part of what hayes does is they do something to the grip/magwell that lets it accept staccato/prodigy/duramag/atlas/mbx mags. so im running mbx 24 round mags in this video. the prodigy and staccato 20 round mags i have work and fit flush as well!!

completely agree man, it might be my softest shooter. definitely among the flattest as well and the ergonomics just make it feel amazing in my hands. ive been running it in uspsa matches and with the 400 i put through it this morning at the range im right around 1k rounds and thouroughly impressed

its very comparable to others like the prodigy or MAC 9. very comfortable for me. not sure how someone with smaller hands would like it.

relatively inexpensive too. if you dont get the polished steel slide that saves you 350 right there. gun looks great when they do it up all black with their rose gold barrel and slide cuts

@@OldmanSnake I've got a couple staccatos and a few other 2011s and I'd say the platypus is every bit as good as any of them and I might even day it's better. Been running it in uspsa matches and continue to be impressed even without the bull barrel!
