i'd look a fool if i don't watch the whole episode before commenting, but you CAN kill those laser bugs that rotate around a block. hit them with spells and they should die quickly. edit: ah shit. i knew i should have watched more of the video.

there actually was an art piece titled "Pay & Sit: The Private Bench" by Fabian Brunsing which was intended to highlight anti-homelessness architecture. it was a bench with retractable spikes and an alarm that you had to pay to disable for a short time. for a second i couldn't remember if it was a real city initiative or an art piece, but i'm glad i checked!

Usually unless it's super over the top, gore in games doesn't really bother me. But I could only watch so much of this before I had to tap out, interesting how our brains will set seemingly arbitrary boundaries and all that.

Hello! The specific area is called the Path of Pain within the King's Palace, it's an entirely optional area after you've unlocked the first two sides. You have to hit the wall to get through.

I just finished watching your whole playthrough of Chants of Sennaar, we do really need more games likes this! The fact that we did not only learn the language of a community, but the structure of it and their traditions as well was just genius. The way the game is showing you the story of the tower through the environment, like how the alchemists and bards were one and single community until they had a schism between the ones who found what they sought through beauty and the other kept searching through science. Or how the warriors came after them and believed that the bards were the chosen ones and any other below were impurs, so they were waiting for them when the bards had only disregard for these warriors until they learned that they appreciate their art. It was amazing to revive this experience through your gameplay, and to watch parts and puzzle were we all struggled, while some other time I was either screaming the solution or wondering how you figured some things that fast. It's funny how each player experience the puzzles differently. I think we all literally had the same reaction when we saw the sewers like "oh man i'm not getting out of here any time soon lmao". Thanks for sharing your experience of this amazing game, it was a pleasure to see you enjoy it as much as we did!
