I watched Ferris Bueller on VHS a lot as a kid and this preview with its intense music and the Kevin Bacon spinning window scene along w 0 context od what the film was about was unsettling to a 6 year old lol
I saw a Monchichi tshirt n the store today and memory was unlocked! I had to find this to prove to my kids I’m not crazy

We had this and were probably the only people who did have it in our neighborhood (where it took me a lifetime to figure-out why some kids in school wore the same shirt every year and for school pictures, too); Super TV got me into weird shit I haven't seen since like "The Secret Policeman's Other Ball" and "La Cage aux Folles." It was a weird channel reaching weird kids like me--except for Ursula Andress in "The Sensuous Nurse." There was nothing weird about her--I think she stamped my deformed, young brain--I've been looking for her ever since (and will get a serious injury to get there).

They managed to fit in so much content in the space of one year with interviews with big stars at the premiere, several live music performances, movie clips and backstage interviews. They did a great job with promoting this movie with this premiere party and MTV program within only one hour. Also love the 80s commercials.

Seriously, jingles were the best! Commercials need to get those back in!

Jesus, fucking ART. 37:25.... - Andrew McCarthy & James Spader shitfaced, smoking cigs in interview. - "cities in dust"/Siouxsie and the Banshees, playing in background. - @ a After Party for 1986 "Pretty In Pink."

How ironic. 20:08, Michael J Fox makes a joke about Teen Wolf 2. Then Justine Bateman says "i play the wolf." Irony, Jason Bateman does. Terrible movie...not even bad/good. Just bad

I just bought one for an ex-girlfriend, love of my life. Put it in a nice Lands End embroidered bag and sent it to her office for her birthday. (We have been talking over last year… maybe once a month. did see her once a year ago, had a nice 2 hour outing at 5 PM on a Friday night at a high end restaurant in a capital city, in a very public place. And our old custom of a bottle of champagne. She had got married and has kids. I’ve done neither… but guessing she separated… why would a successful career women meet up in public with an ex on a Friday night after 20+ years?) All opinions are welcome! Anyway, she like many had the ear worm of commercial, and I remembered such a thing…. So maybe the end of this story maybe a happy one…. Maybe not. (Damn that Mattel!) Maybe Monchhichi magic reunites us! 😂😅🤣

Honestly, they did really well. I saw some comments about the laugh being cringe and hitting dislike solely for that. Bru, seriously, grow up. These are high schoolers and maybe they are still working on their acting, it wasn't that bad. Anyway, I actually got emotional when Spinel runs to Steven near the end and they grab each others hands in a last "thank you and goodbye" kinda gesture. :')
