To anyone seeing this, i used to be homeless in Alaska. A drug addicted roommate got me canned from my studio and i spent a year in the wilderness of Alaska. Still had a job, saving money to get place. Possibly the hardest times in my life... living in -25 degree weather, dangerous blizzards while sleeping in a half broken tent with a portable heater. Now , a year later, im back home in AZ, living a slightly more normal life. It's not the greatest, but just so y'all know, I've wanted to end it so many times...and never did. Tough times don't last forever ❤❤❤

in the beginning where it was the transition from the quiet to a louder guitar playing sound, I can imagine that after you had a good time in a island you are abt to leave (think of it as a good time in your life) it's like you are just getting your boat ready before starting to go off the shore to find a different island (make some new good memories and moments) the waves and storms are like bad moments...just before you finally reach another island and make better moments and memories

Then end of this song is cool as dhot with the piano. The keys being a bit off in some parts almost separates the piano from the music in a way that it’s now not one of the instruments anymore. When I hear it it just gives the same vibe as a dancer. It’s still apart of the overall piece but just sperate in its own way.( I dno I just play fifa)

It’s crazy thinking back, I used to shoot up Heroin to this song because it resonated so well with the feeling of being lost and not really caring about the consequences of the act of shooting up. The temporary fix of the pain and hurt was just too releasing to be caring about sticking a damn needle in your own arm, but at the same time I always felt so sad about it, about the carelessness towards what I was doing. And this song felt like a movie score, like I was the character of some 90s grungy movie with a drugged up, not fitting in the world ass character, I always had a whole scenario in my head with this song. Maybe it just was easier comprehending that I was really doing this by putting it in a movie scenario. At the same time we all live our own movie, each fighting their own battle. Always remember that, the person next to you has a uniquely complex life themselves and we tend to forget that. Anyways, I’m not doing Heroin anymore, but still I’m not over the edge so to say. If you read this I want to say I love you, and I mean this by heart, if you happen to be in the same situation as I am, feel free to put your heart out, things will get better eventually and we all will make it someday.
