I’m thinking this my issue. I have an early 2000’s Onkyo receiver and just bought a Technics SL-D3 turntable and only getting half volume. No phono plug in on receiver I used dvr with old phono

Nice video! As an added tip, before you export the audio, you can put your curser at the beginning of each track and use the Edit --> Labels --> "Add label at selection" option to add the song titles. Then on the Export screen, select to number the songs. That way when you export the audio, it will also split them up into the individual numbered tracks and song titles, instead of having one large file for Side One and another for Side Two.

I have also had very good results with my Vinyl Flat, but I use the pouch.

Also, I can't see if it's on this model or not, but there are usually one or more pegs near the outer rim of the underside of the platter. After putting your belt around the inner rim, stretch it over one of those pegs, creating a triangle. Then you can put the platter back on, with the spindle inside that triangle formed by the stretched belt. Turn your platter counterclockwise and the belt will snap into place and you're good. No having to try to hold it with your fingers as you put it back on!

With all the reissues, some really great, it is an excellent time to build a library of lps.

I don't like the way they cut records today cause of this inner groove distortion bullshit.

I’ve had this record player lay around for a while because I didn’t know how to use it. Today I’ve been trying to make it work but the sound is really soft. I know there’s 2 wires to connect it to speakers but I don’t know what type of speaker it has to be. Could you help me out?

The whole album is a single song so Im curious Did they manage to do the split between side A and B in a place where there's a second of silence? I would never EVER buy an album like this on vinyl if not. Happy with my CD tho and shirt of this album they're sitting right next to me. Perfect masterpiece. Their best album.

I got an old garrard table from my neighbor, works with a soundbar, however could use some filtering and has no bass, so I assume a simple inline preamp will work wonders plus grounding it
