Really disappointed that you've added mid-roll ads. The experience here is mesmerising, then a big, loud ad came in and destroyed all the calm.

I hope you normally let the beans rest longer than 24 hours before you brew
@AlittleASMRtingle Жыл бұрын
I know you should, but I'm not always that patient. If I happen to have coffee left from the previous batch to last a few days, then great. If not, I just accept the first day or two may be a little bumpy before the coffee settles. Still, even if it's only 24 hours, I find home roast coffee to be better than anything commercial I've bought, even the good stuff from small roasters (and I live in London, so I'm fairly spoilt for choice when it comes to artisan coffee roasters). I think that comes from a combination of being able to dial in the roast exactly to my preference, being able to buy exceptional beans that would not usually make commercial sense for a roaster, and having the satisfaction of owning the roast experience. If you're really into coffee, I'd strongly recommend the Ikawa roaster, it changed my coffee experience quite dramatically.

Definitely coming back. We've had to take a break as we've been in the process of moving country with 4 kids, which mean a hell of a lot of paper work and stress. But I think we'll be done in March, so hoping to come back with a lot of energy then!

Movie scene: In the multi-million dollar high rise apartment of a bustling metropolitan location, a man draws back his living room curtains to gaze upon the beautiful artificial sun. He moves to turn on his music player, to select a track from his playlist of tropical birds, before climbing onto his treadmill to run uphill for 30 mins. The scene fades with Louis Armstrong singing the ending line of What A Wonderful World. Ohhhhh yeaaaah! Human beings invented modern technology to reminisce about the time before modern technology.............and we call ourselves highly intelligent beings. Lolololol

Are you on mushroom?

@zaarkhananal7165 Жыл бұрын
@jonathanraynard8572 There is a product called artificial sunlight made by a number of different companies, one of which is Samsung. The product is said to provide necessary sunlight and vitamin D in no light or low light areas without the worry of sunburn or harmful UV rays. However, the issue that it said to alleviate is due to the pollution of the environment. Furthermore, the production of this item involves the usage of non-sustainable materials and non-sustainable technology. So these companies are creating a product meant to alleviate the conditions of climate change, yet the production and distribution of the product contributes to climate change. I'm definitely not on mushrooms, but those who contribute to this system most likely are.
