It definitely is upgradeable! CPU for sure! (see the livestream where I actually downgrade the PO5000 and find out my main MB is shot) GPU definitely can, too, but you may not be able to get the overkill GPU bracket to connect to the new one. The motherboard layout is a standard ATX, so it should work, you just might have to make sure all cooler parts and such are installed prior to mounting in the case. You'll also have a useless m.2 mount on the right side for the no longer aimed off the MB second m.2 slot, probably.

The level of clarity and how cheap a big 4 k tv are these days it makes no sense to buy a projector. Maybe 10 years ago. For 1500$ you could get a large 4 k tv that will knock your sox off 😊
@Accounting4Cycling
@Accounting4Cycling 2 күн бұрын
I completely get that argument, and in most daily use cases, that's true. The big win for a projector is when you want the cinematic experience (larger than life size) in a small package, or just something that is more portable and still able to throw a truly massive image! Ours gets used for a second screen shot onto the wall in the living room during busy sporting times (like the Olympics 😎). The ability to store this "second screen" in a closet or anywhere I can put something the size of a textbook is something you just can't do with a cheap 4k TV. My Epson EF-11 is more permanently placed next to my indoor bike trainer, but I use it more frequently as an extreme sized, space saving display for everyday viewing and for use with Zwift, picture quality against a 4k TV isn't the biggest draw for those. Our living room has a LG 65" 4k TV as the primary display, but sometimes you just want to have a second 200" screen next to it! Also, for $1500, you could get an unbelievable 4k projector that will not only knock you socks off, but you'd be able to watch the Sox in an image size as though you're at the ballpark!

Hey Great video, i am looking at getting the 4070ti model with the 13700f at a good price but was wondering how the noise of the system you reviewed was when closed up. Got rid of my old desktop a year ago for a laptop with a dedicated GPU which is a lot quiter so want to make sure this does not produce a lot of noise.
@Accounting4Cycling
@Accounting4Cycling 11 күн бұрын
@naveensarvananthan5875 I mean, the fans are noisy. Acer doesn't have quiet fans down yet, but you can swap them at a later time for a pretty low cost. Very interesting you found a laptop to be quiet, this will be more background wirring, vs flight deck of an aircraft carrier (gaming laptop) with much better performance.

My CPU temp seems to be running a little hot at times. The fans will ramp up and down continuously. I honestly don’t mind spending money to put something else, but not sure what would be compatible?

I believe the motherboard is just using a standard Intel LGA 1700 cooler mount (at least 12-14th gen mount). The case is definitely wide enough to allow for a larger air coolers and the fan mounts in front and top should allow for a 240-280mm water cooler. In a different system I have, I swapped the tiny Intel stock cooler (much smaller than the Acer one, which I believe is made by Cooler Master) with an ARTIC Freezer 34 Duo. It's reasonably priced (~US$50) and very quiet, but I've also heard excellent things about the Noctua NH-D15 (US$120) for keeping even the hottest CPUs cool! GamersNexus has a lot of detailed videos on almost any cooler you can imagine, too. In my main editing & gaming rig, which is where the 13700F & RTX 3070 were transplanted, I use a Razer Hanbo 240mm AIO liquid cooler. It's a fine cooler, but a little on the pricier end and held hostage by Razer Synapse. Prior to being sent the Hanbo, I was looking into the Corsair H100 and the NZXT Kraken 240mm AIOs.

@@Accounting4Cycling Thanks for responding again bro! I really appreciate your time. I found a Noctua NH-U12A that I think I am going to get. How hard is it to replace the cooler though? Would I have to pull out the motherboard? I am a newbie lol, but feel confident I can figure it out with right direction!
@Accounting4Cycling
@Accounting4Cycling 12 күн бұрын
It's not too bad, the back panel of the case comes off to help make it even easier. No need to remove the motherboard for most cooler installs, big thing to remember is to reapply thermal paste with the new cooler (unless it comes with some on it, some do) and make sure to be grounded with some kind of anti-static device. I did a livestream of extracting the CPU out of the Predator Orion, not really helpful for installing a cooler in that system, but there are tons of tutorials out there, it's how I learned how to do it, too! Good luck!

Receivable: There are better devices on the market. Garmin has only been available in Europe for 2 months now I had hope for Garmin BPM index, but they are 100 years behind the times. 1- Bad app often does not recognize a device automatically. 2- Index 2 scale also works poorly, 2 KG is off. 3- Garmin Watch Venu 2 Music is off again with a temperature of 4 degrees. 4 Index BPM Is a joke, Big headline with info instead of flat. - Buying batteries is as old or dated as 2023 to 2024, There are better devices like the ones I use, where the built-in battery is charged via USB C. is cheaper than buying 4x Duracel Battery. - BPM Far too expensive 200 Euro including VAT. Feel cheap material. I have already received a refund for everything sent back 2 months ago. This is Garmin Fisaco Joke. I really expected it to be better than the rest, and much flatter so you can carry it on the go for walktrail bike trail and take a break every 30 minutes and measure. I also expected that there would be an option for 24 hour measurement. every 10 minutes. active as during sleep. This is where Garmin and, for that matter, all other brands, miss the mark again. Missed opportunity. Also indicate Activity in a BPM such as Walk, BIke, Sleep, sport, work, as modes so that you have a better overview of the activity of the 24 hours. I expected Garmin to be able to do this just like watch BPN index. unfortunately peanut butter

@@Accounting4Cycling Yeah, that one I found the firsthand. But it did not helped. I think those plastic parts from inside are holding pannel. It means I need more disassemble than I thought to get to the front fans. Now put front and back fans to lowest RPMs, change of CPU liquid radiator wants, also helped, still feel like in a factory, but it is better. Currently just three things I don't like about this setup: 1) All Fan noise 2) No USB4/Thunderbolt4 3) Very bad positioning of PCIE and only two on board. Need more. (Any splitter recommendations?) What I already changed: 1) CPU cooler fans. 2) wifi card to Wifi7 3) Added 10Gbps network card 4) Added more USB-C card.

Wth lolll. Redo this review man. The most important things are sidetracked. Like what's the FPS, does the audio synchronise with the lip movement? And does it stutter? Get hot while over using etc
@Accounting4Cycling
@Accounting4Cycling 2 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching! From 6:36-7:48, there is a graphic overlay that shows it operates at 1080P 30Hz (FPS). As long as the software you're using doesn't cause any serious lag in either the video or audio, there shouldn't be a need for audio to lip synchronization (something that's done in software, not hardware). The hardware does not stutter, software used may cause some but it's unlikely. It did not and has not gotten hot during usage. It's a $30 webcam, it'll be perfect for Teams, Zoom, even being a talking head in the corner during a stream. If you're looking for something that'll delivery the highest quality video, I highly suggest investing in a nice mirrorless camera and Cam Link (or similar 4k streaming stick). The Brio series has something in almost every price point for various use cases and needs, this is the most basic one, but still delivers a great value.

Predator is going to have better thermals, though by a small margin. Ultimately, it's more up to size and what looks good to you... however the Acer and Lenovo are going to offer substantially better upgradability and repairability down the line. The R16 improved a ton from prior versions... but it's still a hot box with proprietary guts.

It also sucks that I got Lian li and NZXT fans, but only one of the lian li fans works for the rgb software for the pc, the rest is just the fan rgb it self and the mirror look in the middle. The NZXT fans I got for the front, fan speed and look is really nice, but I had to buy a 4-pin to 3-pin adapter for the rgb to even work, plus I had to daisy chain to other fans so it could work, only like the top rgb lights work on one fan and then the other is only the right side of the fan. Also, there is no 9 pin usb hub for the Lian Li or the NZXT hub controllers. I found a usb adapter that plugs into the big blu plug in at the bottom of the motherboard, ill give that a try and see how it goes. @Accounting4Cycling Ай бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching! You should be able to connect your PS5 to the HDMI port (unplugging the Android TV stick). For your speakers, it would depend on how they are able to connect (or how they connect currently). The HDMI from the PS5 or Android TV stick* will send audio to the projector and you can use the onboard 5-watt speaker for sound, or if it's something like a home theater receiver or some soundbars, it likely has HDMI switching built-in and can handle the Android Tv, PS5, audio, and one cable to the projector's singe HDMI. *The Android TV stick supports Bluetooth speakers on it's own, but that's separate from the projector and will not work with the PS5, but the PS5 may also be able to support a Bluetooth speaker output, I'm just unfamiliar with the PS5.

Hi, thanks for watching! For the Predator Orion 5000, not really unless you never want it to go back on; the iBuyPower, absolutely not it will break the acrylic that already kind of looks broken (on purpose); the NZXT H510 (RIP, but the H5 is infinitely better), lol, nope. The Predator Orion 5000 has a bunch of those melted/"welded" plastic clips that hold the front grill on, some screws, and all sorts of other things that make it so it'll likely never go back on again and just leave you with a bare metal, OEM chassis showing. Not recommended to remove the whole thing, but the metal mesh is just that plastic melt/"weld" style, so you could remove it with some effort.

Careful with thunderbolt 4 hubs from Anker. I have learned they have compatibility issues ie with new Apple products. I had to replace my HUB due to this issue as Anker will not deal with the problem. I think they may not support Apple for some strange reason.

Not just Anker, this has been a pretty common issue with TB4 and Apple silicon. They have to license Thunderbolt technologies from Intel, and it doesn't always connect, but an excellent warning to check the compatibility tables on the company website! It's always good to ensure the USB-C you're trying to connect is capable of as not all ports are created equal, even though they use the same plug/port interface. It does not! Same with the 20 and 40 series, too. Works great for long rides and commuting!

How is this for watching movies in the dark? There’s no contrast ratio specified and no hdr. I’ve heard the black levels are poor and it’s not great for watching movies in the dark?

I would say it's okay for watching movies in the dark. HDR is going to be on the more premium projectors and likely be paired with 4K and a higher than $1000 price point (or much more). This is a great all around projector, but if you're mostly planning on dark, lights completely off, movies I would probably pass on it and go for something that is a cinema series. The flexibility comes with sacrifices for more projectors, but laser and short-throw projectors would be a better fit for darker rooms and probably will be 4K & HDR. Thanks for watching!

This stuff is great and it works, i no longer cramp after large efforts BUT the powder isnt that soluble and leaves goo-ey chunks in the water. Havent found a way to get around that yet but besides that efs pro is legit.

Agreed! Its awesome!I've only had the goo issue if I premix bottles and forget to use them within a few days, but have had the same thing happen with other carb mixes, too. EFS-PRO has hugely helped during climbs for me! Thanks for watching!

They do get easier to put on and take off over time, I did a couple bends of them after the first few uses to loosen the rubber up a bit. I hope you were able to get them off!
