Also I noticed you have the option to expand your pouch, this lets you use two pouch items at a time on a character of your choosing. You can find pouch expansion kits across the game through exploration. Just press x on the pouch screen

The elemental orb is pulsing during a chain attack, that shows that you have a opposite element blade available to deal 2 hits rather than 1. In your case in the Zeke fight you were lucky ou had poppi as an earth element because if not you would not be able to continue the chain attack as no matter whether it went for the wind or electric orb it would have only dealt 1 damage and would not have broken any, since orbs require 3 hits (or 2 if hit by an opposite element attack). Opposite element attacks will automatically target the orb they are strong against but otherwise the attack will target an orb at random.

as for the orbs in chain attacks: first of all great job with the combat, you're doing really well compared to most. you SHOULD be using the opposite element of orbs whenever you can (if there are multiple orbs, the attack will hit the "correct" one/the one that is weak to it automatically) because that will hit the orb TWICE instead of once (the orb will get hit once also when you use the same element as the orb, so unless you have the opposite element of one of them, anything else will do the same damage to the orbs) which is KEY to breaking them as soon as possible (orbs can take 3 hits) which is what will help fill up that meter you see on the top left during a chain attack before it ends for an epic Fullburst! edit: if you have an opposite element at your disposal, the orb symbol will sort of "flash" to remind you to take advantage of that, finally if you wondered what element opposes which then the "booster animations" (talking about the boosters you take before creating a new blade, those pairings of "flowing elemental light" will show you which opposes which, earth-thunder, ice-wind etc.)

Let me try to answer some of your questions during the episode, although it might start looking like an essay. Regarding Poppy's field skill "Nopon Knowledge". You have to unlock the row first, that's what that lock icon means. The left most column has requirements for the row itself. After lock is removed, you can start unlocking individual grayed out nodes by fulfilling their conditions. Alternative would be to have another rare blade with nopon knowledge since field skill levels add up between all your equipped blades. Some of the more advanced field skill checks require levels higher than 3, so the game expects you to have many blades with many skills, and change your party when faced with challenging field check - honestly one of the most annoying parts of the game. You might also want to unlock some yellow nodes since they are passive skills and some of them are busted, for example Mythra's foresight. Canceling arts into arts. You frequently did canceling autoattacks into arts by using art at a precise moment autoattack ends (it's accompanied with a blue circle and a sound effect when you do it right). Now you can do the same with arts. Thankfully for arts the timing isn't important - you can just keep mashing next art's button when the previous art animation is in progress and it will just happen as soon as ready. Cancels are important because they increase damage, give more art recharge and more special recharge. That's why art recharge is so important you want to have all 3 arts off cooldown in order to be able to chain them frequently. That's why you should use that pouch expansion kit that you got ages ago on Rex, put two desserts into his pouch. You'll see that in result you'll start building up special so quickly that you can do single-element combos (like fire->fire->fire or light->light->light) on your own, without any help from other party members. Regarding chain attacks and orb- I feel like you got it mostly right. The key thing to keep in mind is that you want to break at least one orb per round to get another round. Every orb has 3 hp. Every attack damages 1hp. If you can use blade with element opposite two one of the orbs, it damages that specific orb for 2 hp. That's why remembering opposite element combos is important (fire/water, electricity/earth, wind/ice, light/darkness), otherwise you might spread your damage between multiple orbs and not get another round.

I felt like you showed disrespect towards the game and all those who have enjoyed it. You said you have never played it yet referenced back to Warcraft 2 and 3 and while they are not WoW they still hold some of the folklore. If you are going to use some information but only part of the info then please use the correct info or it just makes you look stupid. You could atleast watch the all the videos of all the expansions in sequential order so things make better sense to you.

You did it one time battling morag. But you should try to do it more, extend your chain attack by putting orbs on the enemy, each blade combo will put an elemental orb on the enemy if there is not one orb already from the same elemental of the last special in the combo, breaking the orb during a chain attack turn will grant you another turn. Break 5 and the chain attack will end, starting a full burst. Every extra orb will guarantee a massive bonus to the full burst, I don't remember exactly but you can get something like between 100% to 800% damage bonus. You are early in the game, i don't think it's likely for you to do a full burst yet, but you should at least try to extend your chain attack using one of two orbs.

I don't want to spoil anything, but you missed the scene, mythra noticed mia is a man, and promised to keep it a secret. 😂 Just kidding.

For attackers, in special rex/pyra/mythra, critical is a more important stat to look in a chip. For defenders block rate is important, if not using a dodge build, dodge depends on agility, so it will depend on the driver statistics, if I'm not mistaken I favored block on tora, and on the other defender I favored chips with high attack or critical depending on the blade and equipped itens for evasion and agility up. Chips stats are less important for healers, so for mia's blade I used a mix of high damage and high critical depending on the blade. The bonuses a chip gives vary from blade to blade, if I remember correctly it depends of the weapon type the blade uses. Also there are only one healer driver. But there are other methods of get healing. Critical healing, chain attack healing, and others, it will be useful to look into those things at mid/end game when you will actually have the equipment or have means to farm the equipment necessary to make those builds.

Mor Ardain is the worst place when it comes to finding your main-questmarker. :D Don't use the compass, just look at the environment and try to think logically where to go next. But this Titan also has one of the coolest atmospheres, with it's steampunk style and wasteland surroundings.

The stop by the hot springs may seem like the typical anime filling stuff but it has some relevant clues. The game is so long that maybe you won't remember then... but oh well.
