How much I have to thank this game... How many days I spent playing in it. How many hours, how many minutes, how many seconds? This game... this is no game, this is a life lesson for all of us. This game teached me to be the way I am now. I write this to whoever migth read this. This game teaches you to enjoy the little things in life. Seeing the crops grow, the sun rise and fall, your cattle, your simple life. All of that, this game teaches you to appreciate. It also teaches, in it's core, something important; we came alone in a magnificient and large world. Truth be told, like real life, there is only one of us, much like Minecraft. The world is empty, and it's emptyness is beautiful, and unsettling. Magnificient yet grim. This game is also part of the reason why I'm religious. I have yet to thank Mojang for making this game. Thank you, to whoever migth read this. God bless all of you.

There are so many people here who write quotes but I want to say it straight away: I'm glad we were all able to play this game in our childhood. Now we are left with nostalgic thoughts about the game, I still remember when I played Minecraft with my brother and friends using split screen. All because we didn't have much back then and were happy about such small things. Today it's different, everyone says the game has changed but it's us who have changed. Now we can look back but back then we were able to experience it. Thank you Minecraft, thank you Notch, thank you Mojang for everything

After hearing this Ive decided to revist my xbox 360 world from 6 years ago and continue where i left off

There are 20 minutes before I turn 18... here's the day, and here I am like so many others. Truly it has been a marvellous journey, and I can say without a fragment of a doubt that my time in Minecraft was the best times I had ever had. Thank you for the experience, and the friends I made along the way. Nothing could have been better, and it could not have been more perfect. This music just makes me happy, and it is a moment of joy that I get to turn 18 listening to this.

One day, I woke up as if it was a normal day, went downstairs while playing one of these songs, I realized my dad hasn't woken up yet, so I made him his favorite coffee, his favorite pancakes with his favorite syrup, and put strawberry's on it, I knew my dad would love it, so I went upstairs into my dad's room, I went "hey dad" in a soft voice, he didn't wake up, I said it again in a slightly louder voice, no response said it again but now I was speaking pretty loud, any response? No. At that point I was yelling "DAD! DAD!" over and over again, no response, I was at the age of 17 when this happened, I think of this whenever I hear this song, I think of that one moment where he didn't wake up. Moral of this story, spend as much time with loved ones as you can, the moment they pass could be coming faster then you think.

I just love to go back on my old xbox 360 and go back to the un updated worlds, I miss them, I never want to destroy my first world, the first world that was ever created, brings back memories. And the maps they made, the 2015 halloween map, it all hurts to see it go away

We had a good time, didn’t we? We could never have imagined how hard growing up would be. And now, we miss the “good old days”. Well, at least the memories stay to confort us through the hard times.

I played Minecraft since Alpha it was an Amazing Journey from a Kid to now. i still remember when i lost my Playstation 3 Account i had so many Friends some of them i even could have met in Real Life. im overwhelmed by Nostalgia im in tears...

If if makes anyone feel better after reading all these depressing comments, I was 23 when Minecraft came out so this music has 0 effect on childhood nostalgia

shit, 25 seconds in, already feeling my eyes becoming wet. Not of sadness, neither of hapyness... Just... this sensation, like nostalgia... The weirdest part is I started playing minecraft in 2019, not really early in the game and in my life too, i was somthing around 13. The version was 1.14.4 back then. I barley played with music on, sice it annoyed me quickly and i saw on many youtube videos, the were disabling the music when creating a new instance (often mods). (oh and sorry for my english, i'm french). This music is so relaxing, so calm in comparaison to the modern world, always fast, stressing, full of obligations. It's good to relax and take some time for ourselves sometime. I felt like writing, for those who read everything, thank you, this paragraph is not making a lot of sense lol. Stay calm and enjoy this masterpiece.
