Your detailed technical approach to these videos and objectivity makes this channel one of the very few if not the only reliable source of FSD updates. I stopped reading any articles or viewing other videos that are just in one camp or the other trying to make a sale or push their views/feelings onto others. Thanks a lot for the content!

You forget something have you forgotten that the passengers inside would be continuing to move so with that side test the cybertruck may not have been very damaged but the people inside not to mention if the sidewalk hits someone else well I hope they have good life insurance because they are going to need it car turns into a pancake that's something else that we actually should we testing how vehicles affect existing other vehicles on the road because if we tested for that the cybertruck would not have passed The Cybertron hitting let's say a Ford Taurus would be like a sledgehammer hitting a tin can and what you're saying about people just having a truck to have a trunk have you forgotten about people taking garbage to garbage dumps no I do admit cities but there's so much usefulness from a truck if you ever did decide to do something where you need to transport stuff and you have like this tiny ass car You're going to need to rent something big money you could save they're also generally safer than your car and you're talking about trucks being huge we don't have any regular cars anymore they're all classified underway light truck so your SUV nope that's a light truck your Taurus light truck and most places in the US we don't need ridiculously small cars they're making the average person look like Mr incredible in his car when he was dealing with civilian life

I can relate, my fsd hates pedestrian walking near it. My parking stopped working because someone was on the side walk. It also gets confused when it's able to see multiple traffic lights and refused to move. My FSD also hates red cars 😅 it beeps at them even in far distance as if I am going to have an accident which is really weird.

In California, the laws about pulling into an intersection to wait to make a left-hand turn are different than where you live. You are actually encouraged to do so in CA..

don't worry, my car did the same. I'm glad I got 3-month free trial from the referral and another 1 month that Tesla gave to everyone. so 4 months of using, I'm not really convinced that it is ready, at least on the local streets. For an example, my left turn was coming within a mile, my 24 Model Y decided to change it to right lane. Then realizes it needs to change back. It sometimes misses the turn because of Southern California traffics. If they see your signal, drivers around you tend to speed up so that you don't get a chance to cut in front of them. And yes, I do feel embarrassed when Tesla's FSD is engaged. I will not be subscribing or purchasing FSD any time soon. Don't buy into a product on future promises.

What a bad parody of XNGP! It uses the illustration of the lame used, but it uses not the most accurate one according to the speed and preference of the user ... There is no illustration where the car should be! But a lot of improvements were made for security, hopefully!!!

"And while the issues I've just showed you may have shaken the foundation of your faith in the next version of Full Self Driving..." Uhhh....yeah! Those all look *quite* horrible! Like...those would have been horrible issues in 2012. 6:30 That's interesting. Where i am the rule is you may enter the intersection if there is *room* on the other side to exit. The path to get to the exit may be obstructuted by oncoming traffic. But once that oncoming traffic clears you do have *room* on the other side to exit. Thinking about the better approach, i think California is in the wrong. In order to safely make a complete left turn from behind the line, to clear the other side, will take a lot more time (because you're starting much further back), and i feel like you now have to negotiate more fresh obstacles when you're so far back. As i'm allowed to enter the intersection, i've already handled watching for pedentrians, and for cross-traffic that i make sure is stopped, and now i've positioned my car to be able to clear the hazardous intersection is a much shorter time - which is also better for everyone. It's strange to not be allowed to enter at all. 7:20 I wish it would have highlighted the car with their hazzards on the display. There's a tremendous comfort being able to *see* what it's thinking about.

I would rather be in a Volvo than this honestly. I am barely allowed to drive the Tesla tank, and I wouldn't be allowed to drive it if I had passengers with luggage in it most likely, as my license only allow me to drive vehicles up to 3500kg.

Just finished my drive with the update, mine doesn’t have this lane change problem but I did see that it did much much more phantom braking. Towards the end in the neighborhood it even sensed like there was a dog on the side of the rode on the grass so it started to brake but it was this upright fallen tree branch. I will say it is definitely more aggressive when driving which is great!
@flowjohnny18 сағат бұрын
You'll also catch the attention of an officer if you perform too many lane changes on a stretch like that, making you more likely to be pulled over.
@jimmcnary19 сағат бұрын
I too have noticed some extremely stupid lane changes, even if you're within a mile of an exit and there's traffic it will happily get into the left lane and miss the frickin' exit. It just doesn't seem to think ahead.

The fundamental problem with Tesla FSD is is it all relies on cameras. no ultrasonic sensors and radar, which will always make the system prone to some errors. when the US military uses missiles, they don’t use cameras on the missile they have a heat signature, radar, and a whole host of sensors so that the missile will be accurate and not hit the wrong target. Then the same should be for self-driving cars
@cosmocalisse23 сағат бұрын
Pretty wild that a version with such defective lane changes makes it into a release. The only explanation I can see is that it must be very hard to make specific adjustments to the model, like you can't just tell it to "make a lot less lane changes" without it having a ripple effect on other behavior throughout the model. Either they're asleep at the wheel with these releases (hard to believe) , or it must be extremely valuable to gather large scale data from a defective model to the point that it's worth making beta testers looking like insane people on the road.
