The difference in the buildings. Who is running and ruining our reality ? Ask. Such comfy and cozy and wonderful architecture. But invaded by cold and drab square box design. Horrible for the emotional well being. Losing touch with nature.

How often did women sword fight men in this period?
@richardthirlwall8767Ай бұрын
Generally speaking, it was not considered proper for women to fight during the Medieval period in any capacity. However, as with much of history, there are always exceptions to the rule and there are examples of women wielding swords for various reasons. In fact, one of the oldest fight manuscripts, '1.33' (which is housed in the Royal Armouries collection) depicts a woman fighting with a sword and buckler. In short, we don't know exactly how frequently it occurred, but it did indeed happen.

Stacking Techniques Action Movies Black Panther. It's called Stacking techniques, where actions fights are choreographed without much issues to actors .
@richardthirlwall8767Ай бұрын
Hello! I'm the one in green, just to offer an explanation, the reason why we choreograph our fights is mainly to properly showcase the techniques we're talking about, but also for safety. We do these fights on a daily basis, so if we were to do 'real' sparring each day it would get very dangerous very quickly (being stabbed ain't fun, don't really wanna do it again! 🤣) In order to alleviate that, we'd have to be dressed up like bee keepers and that wouldn't be very practical for the rest of the show where we're having to talk to an audience. Hope that helped! 😁

Women with swords 😂😂😂😂
@richardthirlwall8767Ай бұрын
Happens quite a lot throughout history actually, more so than people realise, and indeed one of the oldest fight manuscripts '1.33' (which is housed in the Royal Armouries collection) depicts a woman from the 14th century using a sword and buckler 😊 Regardless, this is the 21st century and there's plenty of women out there who are extremely proficient with a variety of different weapons and martial skills. Case in point would be the one you just saw in the video 😝
