When I started driving in 2016 I teamed up with my best friend at the time and we started at CR England. After that first 6 months we both left the company and we never talked since. I have a strong opinion against team driving because you might go into it thinking it'll work for us but guaranteed at some point one person will think they know more than the other and that's how the tension starts. Also when you team with someone you're putting a lot of trust in them so if you're training you're taking somebody that doesn't know how to drive but you also have no idea what kind of person they are. You could come back from the shower and stuff is missing, they could threaten to hurt you, they're driving could be dangerous and reckless. So unless you really want to do that and you have a good system with a company to train I personally wouldn't do it. I've been driving since 2016 doing all kinds of different stuff and over those years I've seen The good and the bad of the trucking industry and what works and what doesn't. To the new drivers just starting, you'll be making more than I did when I started obviously more money but percentage-wise if you get what I mean. When I started I was paid 28 CPM split, worked out to being about $400 a week in my bank account. You won't get anything good your first two years so maximize the experience, learn from somebody that has their shit together. Try to be the best driver you can and grow your experience the best way you can. Don't take the shortcuts is the big issue a lot of new drivers do and you lose a lot of experience in training that way. Currently I now haul fuel, corn everybody it pays the best in the industry overall, but they're sacrifices with that as well. I've known Eddie for good couple years, amazing dude, he's learned a lot of things the hard way and I know he wants to help you all not make some of this mistakes that he's done and he's known some of my mistakes as well! Let's all work together to build each other up and help each other learn to be successful.

O like these videos to train my listening. You speak without slangs or specifics accents. I turn on the automatic subtitles to help me.

Eddie, concrete is more resistant than asphalt, especially at low temperatures. But concrete is more slippery than asphalt. Perhaps this is why chain use is stricter on Donner Pass in winter.

Love the truck, happy you didn't have the problems i did, its a funny story you can tell if you want! And happy you still keep your truck clean, most drivers dont, its not a second home though, its your first when your a driver. Keep it clean, get the maintenance done on time, and things will be nice and smooth...usually. Keep it up brother!

Eddiesauro, that's it's the point of video, the love for trucks, most of those new drivers haven't pride about the truck due to they'd not love them ... If you intended make a good job you must love your activity... Take care have a nice Sunday
