hi, yes there are many hair pin bends. Clouds in May ,,, doubtful :) Climate is not that hot yes, you can easily manage .. even if you have old parents, they will not find it hard

Thanks. Yes hair pin bends are a challange, but it is not something which you cannot manage. What I would suggest is that start a bit early from Bangalore. May be by 5 to 5.30 AM. This way you will reach the start of climb by 6.30 or 7AM. At that time trafiic is less and you can easily manage. Other wise also I did not find it that difficult.

Hi Thankx..I initially planned for Madurai , Kanyakaumari and Rameshwaram together , but have to leave Madurai temple becuase of time constraint. But 5 days is good. If you have one more day in hand it will be more relaxing. Madurai is the point which you have to cross anyway and you can take a stop at Madurai while going or while returning. Roads are good throughout but so you can take any sequence. In Madurai if you are planning to visit only the Menakshi Amman temple then half a day is enough. If your hotel is near by then you can walk back to hotel and change. There are however chaging area after the 22 nd kund , but it common area one each for male and females and hence we decided to walk back to hotel. So it depends upon person to person whether to use it or not. But, you dont need to pour water completely. You can also take the water and sprinkle it on yourslef. Many people do that.
