@@antonioguerra3030 Emboss would not create exactly the same result. I wanted the slot to have identical width all the way through (like a cylindrical pin that slides along it has). Emboss gives a cut that is perpendicular to the surface. In this case it would widen outwards in the vertical part. Of course the difference is minimal. Main reason for solid sweep was me wanting to explore the tool :)

@@blooper68 Not sure what you mean. At what time in the video? Maybe you just need to use the stitch tool to merge them, or do you have a gap between them?

Couldn't the middle cone just be scaled down a tad to allow for clearance?
@Fusion360modeling-fb4gtАй бұрын
@@O-RoD Nope, that would make it intersect in certain areas while making distance at others.

Can you make full tutorial to make this model, pleaseeeeeee !!! i really want to know and see full !
@Fusion360modeling-fb4gtАй бұрын
@@keal4825 It would be a long video... You could make the bottom sketch a lot more simple if you want. Try to sketch just a cross and see what you get by using the same principles as in the video (then you can skip the circular pattern for the spiraling cut).

@@Fusion360modeling-fb4gt How can I create an axial twisted sketch on a triangular pyramid surface, I implore you to make a short video on how to create an axial twisted sketch on a pyramid surface. please sir
@Fusion360modeling-fb4gt27 күн бұрын
@@keal4825 Use the same methods as in this video. The only difference would be that the first sketch is a triangle instead of a circle. Easiest way to sketch a equilateral triangle is to use the polygon tool (press Tab to switch between the inputs for dimension and number of sides).

@@Fusion360modeling-fb4gt any chance you could make more fidget videos like this? Maybe even something like an articulated dragon
@Fusion360modeling-fb4gtАй бұрын
@@Hrev23. Not sure Fusion would be the right tool for those dragons. My main thing is to try to answer questions about how to solve specific problems in Fusion. So if a question pops up about how to create some geometry, that happens to be part of another fidget toy, it's very possible I will make a video on that.

I think it’s really awesome you made this. But I wish you would have recorded the process as you made it. I can’t follow with the time line. For instance you said pattern. I am very confused. I especially wish you would have shown how you drew that very first pattern. Thank you very much.
@Fusion360modeling-fb4gtАй бұрын
@@dugy40 Thanks! It would have been a very long video. There are some really good tutorials about sketches. And after that it' takes some practice to really get a hang of it. But it's really worth it since sketching is a main part of how Fusion works. For this specific shape I advice you to make a simplified version of the sketch, maybe just a cross, and see how it works out when sweeping it.
