I have model TBT3V1T2 it's not easy to remove the brush bar

I didn t find this easy to follow. A diagram would have been useful. It is a pity that the dirt flap fitting is so flimsy. it will probably fall out again when I am emptying it!! I think I need a sturdier vacuum cleaner!

Brush bar wasn't spinning while on or by hand. Cleaned it and popped it back in, it was spinning perfectly, turned her on and it's locked again won't move while on or by hand. There is a slight jerk & click from the square slot end when I turn the brush bar on, any idea what the problem is??

I can't close the dirty water container top. I've connected the tabs but the catch on the other side is so close to catching put I can't pull it over

You don't show how to empty the dirty water tank, I can't find how you open it.

I have taken all apart as shown on the video. I cleaned the machine and refitted as shown. Vacuum is still dropping dirt out the bottom. Infuriating

This was extremely helpful. I have owned mine for 4years now. I clean it every 3months and sometimes forget how to replace the flap.

I have replaced my vax blade 2 floor brush twice now in the last year.. the brush simply stops working and does not turn. I have taken all the brush apart , cleaned the brush, edges and unscrewed the belt section.. NOTHING can make the brush rotate and it makes an awful sound like a jet engine .. come on vax what’s going on . Help the customers who have supported you in purchasing your brand.

I bought a Vax Platinum carpet cleaner a couple of - maybe three or four - years ago. It worked very well. Then Life got in the way, and I've only now got round to using the Vax to clean the carpets a second time. I'm a graduate engineer, a retired Physics teacher - and A Man: surely I knew how to use the cleaner without reading any instructions?! NOPE! And of course I can't find the paper instructions... The explanatory videos are excellent (kudos to the producers for making the message so clear) - thank you! Carpets will get cleaned today, to the admiration (yeah, right!) of my beloved She Who Must Be Obeyed! 👏👏👏

Hi, one side of my brush bar seems to have worn away (not the motor side the square recess side) and now the brush bar flaps around. Any fixes?

instructions on bottle of cleaner says pour 40 ml of solution into top casing BUT your video shows the demonstrator pouring much more that that. Also in the booklet - states in RED pour solution into topcasing and then in RED top up with 1 litre of water.( on top of solution OR in the water side) Bit confused about that. BUT so far very impressed with machine. could you clarify.please,

Bought one in december and used the head wand once and went to use it in the car today and it doesnt work anymore. Shocking product and when trying to contact costumer service, no one answer the phone. 50 minutes waiting on the line. Gave up in the end. Now have a carpet cleaner that half work! Rate zero!

I’ve got this and it’s my 2nd or 3rd one. They always stop sucking up! Ive just used the vax detegent and now the machine isn’t sucking it up again! And I keep my machine clean and hoover before I use it. What a joke. When they work it’s like omg brilliant but without a doubt they stop and you think why did I buy another one?! Never again. Mines currently stopped sucking up on a thinner carpet pile! Ridiculous. 😡

How do you remove the handle?

I CANNOT get the lock handle to work, in spite of getting a new handle. Looked at videos and everything. Dumps water and will not pick up dirty water. Help Cannot find a human VAX being to tell me what to do.

The inside of the separator on my Vax MachAir (very similar model) is extremely dusty inside. I assume it would be fine to rinse it? Considering I don't see any mechanical/eletrical components as part of it.
