In my Civ 5 game, I started out, immediately founded like 5 cities so venice (my neighbor) could only get 2 cities. Meanwhile this spaniard was on an island with 4 cities. So, I advanced to medieval era, got like 13 soldiers, took venice, the bullied spain and eventually met the other players. Then Spain got mad and I declared war on bro and my 13 soldiers rushed into the territory and decimated her army of 3 warriors. (This is my first time playing btw) Now Im in the industrial era, at war with polynesia, and every single player is in the medieval era (they fear my wrath)

this guy could be burning half the planet when i meet him and he'll still be the first to declare friendship with me. i play peaceful and as long as i don't forward settle him or piss him off in some obvious way he's very chill compared to other warlike civs, even on deity when he could mop the floor with me. also, probably the most beautiful peace theme in the game

One of the most epic AI fights I have ever seen was Attila and Ashurbanipal fighting a war in the early Classical period for control of the River Valley and the city states residing it, the horse archers were a menace against Darius since he was situated on the flatlands but since Assyria has the advantage of rough terrain, Attila's advantage didn't do him any favors, oh man was it epic to see massive armies of Swordsmen and Spearmen fight one another in a cramped location, the horse archers was still a threat but again Assyria had the terrain advantage and while Ashurbanipal lost some crappy cities, Assur and Nineveh survived, unlike Darius who got wiped out, unfortunately for Attila I'm an opportunist who knows that if Assyria falls it's basically me who is next on the chopping block, and while Attila was recovering from that war I too it upon myself to raze some cities and take Attila's and Persia's capital to myself, thank you Ashurbanipal for so thoroughly destroying the Huns, and sorry but I was going for a domination victory as well as Rome, you're the best non ally AI that proved themselves useful for my conquests.
