what ages are considered "kids" to you guys? some people think of the word kids as 7 year olds and some are just anyone below the age of 18. just a question

I think people who say that are people who heard things like that and/or were treated in a hateful manner when they were kids. Saying this from experience.

Obviously, you take polyamory personally, and essentially fetishize it though with your useless rant.

I'm really glad to see monogamous people totally understanding that cheating is possible within polyamory and that polyamory doesn't mean that anything goes or that cheating is no longer possible.

Kids can get annoying but i dont hate them. Im an adult who still likes some childish things like toys etc so itd feel hypocritical, theyre just little people figuring it out just like everyone else ):

He could've still been there to this day. Thank you for posting this. It reminds people to remain vigilant and self-aware when renting an apartment. Its not uncommon for people to abuse their power. I work full time and just do art as a hobby. Art fight is a game and meant to be fun, anyone treating it like anything else is missing the heart of art fight imo. I don't think it should be something to stress about.

I do like the dropkick a child joke from watching technoblade. I don't like being around kids. I refuse to interact with kids more than the bare minimum needed to get them away from me. That being said I don't go out of my way to interact with the miniature humans of the world anyway. Pushy extroverted parents aside. I'm also not sure that chiding people for expressing/venting on the internet is a good thing. It's healthier than them expressing that to someone in person.

Consumer mentality It's all about products And sadly we're treating each other as objects. Food. Things. Consumables. We can talk objectively and criticize even a table. There are other tables. We can be objectively talk about people's actions as well but we're talking about them as if they were tables in a catalog magazine. "Ohhh don't buy this. Look how bad this is. You've been lied to" We can still be respectful about it tho

I've found a couple of KZfaq channels that are solely dedicated to being "childfree". As someone who isn't sure about having kids (although I was more against having them in the past), I've never even thought of having my entire personality and life based around not having them. Like, yes, I'm technically "childfree" I suppose, but so what? On one of the channels, the person seems to just talk about how they hate children. It just comes across as so weird and pointless to me.

I remember reading comments while watching a video on KZfaq, and I saw this argument where someone called the op (the one who made the comment I was reading) a kid, and the op called the other person a kid, and that person said "I was born a teenager"

My partner cheated on me when they forced me into a poly relationship with their best friend they assured me they had no feelings for. It was torture for me. We had been monogamous for 7 years, and their best friend also was always trying to break us up because he didn’t respect lesbian relationships and thought a man had to be present always.

Doing my 1st year of artfight at 19 while also trying to balance a full-time job and social life. Certainly a challenge, but an enjoyable one so long as I don't put too much pressure on myself about it

Sometimes kids will be disruptive in public, and it’s not because kids are awful or the parents are doing something wrong. It’s because children have a lot of emotions they haven’t learned to control yet. (Or really understand what they’re feeling) Remember that their problems might seem small to you, but their feelings are real. They feel exactly the same when they drop their ice cream as you feel when you lose your job. The emotion doesn’t last as long, because soon they’ll be thinking about something else. But the emotions are real and we should respect that.

Tbh I like kids but I would be an awful parent and I would prefer to not have any of my own

I'm 20 now, I've done at least one attack every art fight since I first found it in 2017 and doing it both as a kid and as an adult with adult responsibilities is WORLDS apart. It's still fun, I still love it but my attack ratio has severely declined over the years and that's totally fine, I've got other shit to do lol But I do always comment on art I receive during the event, it takes two seconds to do

I really wanted to join this year but I’m not confident enough in my art style. My anatomy is not great and I have trouble with hands, poses, perspective, correct shading, stuff like that. Really looking forward to joining next year though!

These people who hate on young kids really havent met these kids in their life. Reality is they arecute, loving, wholesome and far from what they make them appear to be. These people need to touch some grass

I feel about artfight the same way I feel about inktober and mermay, it's just too much pressure. The most I might be able to churn out is like three drawings at most, I don't know how other people do it :(

I really like AF because has so many cool OCs to draw, but I always have to remember myself to not go overboard with the ideas for the attack lol

I’d really like to hear about the again in the art community! My mum is trying to get into art but is finding it really hard, and even I get werid stuff about being too old in art school.

I’m 29 and doing art fight, and I never really gave my age any real thought. I definitely like to take my time with my attacks. I even have a schedule going where I work on my attacks at night after my second split shift for a few hours. Overdoing it isn’t gonna do you any favours.

Happy disability pride month! 🏳‍🌈 I'm celebrating by taking it easy. 🏳‍⚧❤ I think AF can be tough too bc there's more people doing it every year, so that's more people likely to be young artists with not much awareness of limiting factors for adult artists. It can also be hard to estimate prep time for it - refs, what characters to give priority to, do's and don'ts, ect - so crunch thru june and burnout in july. I'm waiting until Creator Clash in september tho. Seeing everyone talk about AF is my reminder to work on references at my own pace and get excited for it. Bc otherwise if I don't have reminders and a 'deadline' my mentally-ill ass is NOT getting anything done lmao. I think the teams this year are Early Bird and Night Owl, I'm very conflicted on what team to join bc I love morning and night equally. XD

I've never done art fight before due to the pressure of "revenges" and making sure you don't leave anyone hanging. This video made me a lot more comfortable with the idea, so thank you. Hopefully I can do it next year and post different reference sheets before July!

No wait LOL the way you described your friends talking about their attraction is so enlightening. I'm also Demisexual and find ppl attractive aesthetically but not like, think about them in my own time or want them to fuck me type attraction. And I've never quite understood how non-asexuals thought about that kind of thing? Like I get it in theory... but its a different thought process altogether.

It's my first Artfight with a proper full-time job, so I finally feel the struggle too. But I actually think it's a good opportunity for me as a perfectionist to learn to just call things 'done' (I guess I needed that lol). Only doing sketches is a really good way to combat that, too! Another way to get a few more attacks out is to look for simple-shaped characters like that blorbo thing, I personally always make sure to feature my clob character on my card so people know I got one for a quick attack/revenge. Blob characters are valid and more people should allow themselves to draw them without thinking they're being lazy! (Also I barely know anyone who picked Seafoam so I gotta bookmark your babies for later)
