This is pure propaganda, there is no worker shortage. People spend months looking for a job spewing twenty applications a day for "entry level" jobs at Starbucks requiring five years experience and a Master's degree. The economy has been smashed since 2008 and it never recovered.

Doesn't address the problem of our workforce being an exploitative system by design Reskilling does nothing until this is addressed

Agreed agreed, beating around the bush. I'm not friends with those who advocate for a system that doesn't "work" for the individual.

@@larrydanadavid2435 I see a future that doesn't treat the individual as an object to used in the production process. To which one's primary responsibility is taking care of one's family mind and body. How do you view the best path for humanity?

@@bluedot7817 Well there’s fantasy, and that’s what you’re hoping for. Then there’s reality and that’s working harder than the person next to you and realizing that if you walk out the door there’s 20 people lined up to take your job. The quiet quitters will always lose.

@@larrydanadavid2435 To whom conditioned us to compete with our neighbors? We've grown too nebulous if that's the mentality. I refuse to run the race of rats and embrace those closest instead. Maybe the rat cage is too big?

People can definitely target when a company isn’t meeting their needs. Corporate culture can say one thing and be another once a person begins employment. It’s very interesting.
