Where can I buy that tool your using first and the name of that tool?

Are you using machine for engraving or are you just pushing the tool?

Curious what angle / type of push graver you are using (and a good site to buy one)?

925 silver is difficult to engrave. It feels much harder than copper and is not smooth when engraving.

I can feel the amount of pressure one would have to put to cut metal like that. I tried it once but wasn't able to do it. Great work!

Practice. Musle memory. Keep on doing untill your fingers bleed.
@azeezjewellery2 ай бұрын
@@adnaancassiem2856 haha. It's one hard thing to push the graver into the metal without any other tool. I have tried it with a chisel and hammer but it would take a while to master
@adnaancassiem28562 ай бұрын
@@azeezjewellery that's the reason why I told practice untill your fingers bleed. Whiles pushing the graver into the metal, you will slip from time tp time. Slip again and slip again and slip untill you slip into your fingers. Untill it bleeds. Then you will learn engraving.

I'm so curious right now. I wanted to try carving like you did, so I bought an air carving machine and tried carving, but it didn't work like you did on steel nails. I tried it on coins, but the coins don't turn into pieces either. No matter how hard you apply your hand, it won't break into pieces. For your information, there is no problem with the engraver. So I want to ask you. Is it a material problem? Or am I applying the wrong force? I tried following your instructions, but it doesn't work. Is there another reason?

Obviously you're an expert now, but when you first started how long did it take you to get to the point where you could consistently create these without making any mistakes?

A general comment which ( in part ) offering some light on the question. Videos such as this one, in majority are aimed at advertising engravers' already marketable skill and their results. Many inexhaustable numbers of videos will show how to practice to reach anywhere near adequate skill level to produce work seen here. Many engravers can and do achieve this level of skill within several years. Others will take many more years for to reach this level. Clearly, ones who are more adept to learning faster, can reach this level quicker. Desire to get there is with the learner.

Theres no way I could do this, id take one of my fingers off on the first day
@alierem4266 Жыл бұрын
Well on the first day, doubt will be that you would be adequately confident to tackle this. Extensive practice would determine skill to cut as well as in this example--whether air or push engraving--. It does put fingers in the firing line, granted. gd luck anyway.
