That Infancy text is baloney. Disregard it completely, along with the Gospel of Thomas, the gospel of Mary, etc. There's a reason they aren't Christian canon.

Beautiful worship set and solid biblical teaching on healing. Today is the anniversary of our 17 yr old son stepping into eternity in spite of world wide prayers for his healing. What can a parent make of that? There are eternal things at stake that we cannot know or understand while our feet are planted on this earth. Is living this short life without him with us painful. Yes. Less today than 15 yrs ago…but, still, yes . The long life to come is the one that matters more. PS107. How do we sort healing out? For the Lord is good, and His loyal love endures forever. It’s long lasting from beginning to end. When my pain and loss doesn’t make sense, I lean deep into the knowledge that His unshakable loyal love, goodness and kindness is a fact that I can’t get around and my view is not the whole picture. I hope this comment can help someone else experiencing the excruciating pain of having to bury a child.

I’m an ex JW and was taught that the Holy Spirit was God’s active force. Period. As a new Christian I found it hard to understand the Holy Spirit as a person. Tonight was a breakthrough moment! I understand now and the illustration of your wife’s profession was so helpful. Thank you! I’ve been searching for this understanding for quite awhile. This goes in my “ listen twice “ folder

I would say eating dinner is different than poping brewskies and jamming out to Doja Cat. Which now days is what partying is! The scriptures say they ate. He’s saying that we’re partying?? From what he seems to be saying is that doing some keg stands and listening to some Cardi B at the pregame then heading over to P Diddy “naughty people party” is what Jesus would be doing??? Seems way off to me and could cause people to stumble! Jesus would for sure try to reach those people but I have a hard time believing he would be joining in the keg stands as he is inferring here. It’s like you’re at work and a bunch of guys ask if you want to go to lunch with them and you say “Yeah where we going?” They say the “Strip club!”You’re like “ Perfect!! That’s the best place to witness to you guys!!”” …. Run a yard from the gates of hell, don’t put yourself in it… Instead of having Mike wear porn on shirt and being okay with it. Could he have said “Hey man, I’m married and because I love my wife and I do what I can to protect my marriage, I’m going to have to ask you to change the shirt or I won’t be able to workout with you today.” Seems like that would be being the salt and influencing him in a positive way letting him know he was different and that he had boundaries, staying around him wearing that says that you’re okay with looking and be around that. It’s almost like he’s saying if you’re at a party in Colorado and people are taking mushrooms and smoking weed… (which is all legal there) you would be doing them a disservice not partaking and saying “Hey guys yall have fun but this just isn’t for me!” “Let’s go grab dinner next week” We are salt and light. We are called to look different and be different. We can influence people whom God loves and who need Jesus and meet them where they are at without literally going into a bar and slamming brooskies with them. Why not maybe go eat dinner and have real conversation with them instead??? “… let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matt. 5:14-16) I feel like ultimately people just want you to know how much you care for them. Makes me think of Paul and Silas when they had a chance to run away in the prison, which I’m not going to lie I probably would have ran as fast as I could. They stayed to save the prison guard who fell asleep life. Because he witnessed how different they were, their faith, and their love, the guard was saved (Acts 16:30). He wanted what they had. People will be attracted to light. Real light. They will want what you have. And then you will be able to point them to Jesus

Greetings from Australia guys. We go to a church here in the small city of Ballarat in Victoria. And as I know people who go to your church, I follow the channel and love your sermons. Keep the good work and remember, whereever you go around the world you will not be alone, not just because God will be there, but because God have children everywhere or will use you to bring the lost near.
