Robert E. Lee HS Marching Band did this show this past year and from what I watched, they had the same exact drill as Tarpon. Whomever did the show design cheated them out by using the same drill -- very unforunate.

Tarpon Springs has the best projection I have ever heard. They are smaller than many bands that compete, yet they still produce a strong and powerful tone.

They Awesome but but not as awesome as Fort Mill High School Marching Band. Fort Mill has went up against them and won.

Today I went to the Tarpon Springs competition, and after watching them perform.. You realize how much work it took, and how respectable all the band members are. It is a dream to have my band as well ss them, but thats really good if you have bands striving to be lie you. Props to TSHS Band

This is just awesome. A high school with near DCI level drill (and a bit of WGI), extremely difficult arrangements executed with dynamics and intonation, challenging guard work, and a good pit. For all the complainers here compare these folks to the majority of high school music. It isn't even close. Appreciate. Don't hate.

Dylan, tarpon springs may be " cheap " but they just play a different kind of show. Their previous shows tell a story. Not only do they require lots of time and precision, but also responsibility. We attended their competition last year, and we are again this year. In doing so, you do realize how much more responsible and respectable the band members are.

My band was there. Came all the way down from southeastern Virginia and missed finals by one tenth of a point. Eh, but that's in the past. We're going to Indy this year, so we won't be able to see you guys unfortunately

Umm... The only recent SC band to make finals was Wando in 2011, not saying it would be impossible for BS, but it would be hard. Nation ford went last year and made semis, and it doesn't look like fort mill will be attending anytime either. So represent SC the best you guys can!

Tarpon doesn't even play their show most of the time... It's mostly all backtracks and recording... Just saying... it's kinda cheap

Yeah, the only thing holding us back is storage space. The campus is over flowing with the bags loaded with money that get's delivered to us twice a day from our lovely sponsors at Disney. So many bags of money that we don't really have room to do anything except spend money.

A lot of them were working incorrectly, they had survived a whole season at this point and new ones weren't about to be bought.

The only form of marching battery to be performed is marching snares, UNTIL...nevermind.

Obviously Tarpon Springs High School's performance ensemble is funded by Disney because we lost to them and they're in Florida! Duh! They only won Atlanta because of the score they got in the props caption! Duh! The other bands are much better, even though they weren't placed that way by qualified judges. Those kids at Tarpon have fancy metronomes implanted into their frontal lobes, it has nothing to do with counting, obviously.

I've gotta say, I love Tarpon Springs. While I do get jealous of their consistent win streak at the GA dome regional, I can't deny that they have talent! Looking forward to seeing their show next year!

I saw this show in Atlanta, i performed with the UNA Pride of Dixie. I had chill bumps and i am obbsessed with this show! Great job you guys!

When I watched them perform this live at BOA, I literally cried.

I go to Harrison and I just want to say that I highly respect and wish to congratulate Tarpon Springs on their success this season. While I was a little let down that we didn't win, all I can do is wish the best of luck to you in the future, you showed great honor when you won and I can't be mad when so many kids put their hard work into something.

I went to Tarpon. I'm sorry, I can not rate this band until they produce a full marching drumline. I don't think they should be allowed to compete like this. Then other schools will try and imitate it, and next thing you know the whole history of marching bands have changed. Other than that, these guys are near DCI with their drill.

I understand that the parents do pay fees. im not saying that you guys dont work as hard everyone else or you dont have to put in as much effort as everyone else, but i don't think of tarpon springs as competition band...they are more of a.. lets see..show band. they put on a great show, but i cant take it seriously. the judges like show bands and ALWAYS pick them over the actual good bands.

They are sponsored by disney. Thats the end of it. If they dont win a major competition then disney wont fund them anymore. Thats that. That is why they are good-ish.
