Any recommendation on heating a 10x10 canopy with 4 sidewalls? I do astrophotography, and being in NC, winter is the best time for me to image objects. I might try this setup during the summer next year, if we ever have a cloudless night.

@successfulqueenaffirmation1583 lol this is a question we get asked alot it's a vango tent we had to import it from the UK it's awesome but honestly not the most practical thing for most campers as it's 130lbs and cost around 3k after tax terrif and import fees

you know, hot air rises, and that’s what that vent does is releases hot air, and cool air drops to the ground. It won’t escape through the vent.

@AhparathYasharahla we have a 3500 inverter but I'd guess a 2500 would run it we are almost always set up at a site with power so no generator needed normally

It's good just make sure your keeping up on seam sealing and waterproofing we used our tent twice with about 3 yrs apart and ofc it rained the first night we set it up after it sitting in storage and we got completely rained out our fault but at the same time the seam tape was flaking off so just keep an eye on it

if anything im mostly loosing air from the screen top thats why i suggest the tarp or towels ontop of the tent to help with that but honestly it does pretty we we have been able to camp in key west with temps nearing 100 and still be ok the ac wont really keep up during the heat of the day but you can sleep comfortably at night

@ParkHopTillWeDrop 9 күн бұрын
our 10k would keep the tent cool in 90 degree weather in the shade its mostly to cool the tent at night to be able to sleep comfortably also having the ac air vent pointed at the sleeping area is going to help some a/c point the air up for circulation this is pointless in a tent setup in the middle of the day a tent is very difficult to keep cool but wehave camped countless times in the summer here in florida and its made a big difference in our experience

Ok video…but you didn’t mention how you power it? Or, how many ways it draws? I’m using a 2000W Yamaha generator and looking for a portable tent AC
@ParkHopTillWeDrop
@ParkHopTillWeDrop 13 күн бұрын
@stevenkhan4344 it will depend on your ac setup the bigger the unit the more draw there will be everyone's setup will be different we clearly have a huge tent and thus we run a large ac we almost never run this on a generator it's pretty much solely on a shore power setup from the camp site we are staying at

We've used this tent for 8 years. We just got rid of it after our family camping trip this year as it no longer stays dry in rain. It did great for us for the first 6 years or so. Then this year and the previoua year the weather proofing no longer was effective. We are happy with the tent, and got many good years out of it. Was great for a family of 4 with a dog. Upgrading now to a slightly larger 16 person tent for our next one.

So normally we camp at sites with power but it could be fun on a small generator or even a battery power bank a big one like the ac200max and that could be combined with solar to be efficient and quiet

My bike is the red and silver colors version i love that my black leather seat sticks out with the silver fenders. I used my own money to buy my gator, My gator helps with my mild autism i get mental relaxation and physical exercise. I love that my gator weighs 240 pounds. It cost $249 to register and get a rear license plate here in washington state. I love that my gator has 5000 watts total power. The seat is comfortable and calming. Its my 33rd birthday month here in may and i will be having fun riding my gator =)
