Used to come on at 2:30 am in 89 in Bermuda...reruns ofcourse. Thankfully I was laid up for 8 months after knee surgery.Back then ligament surgeries took 8 months to recover... So I was able to stay up all night and sleep all day. Aaaaaah good times.

I used to watch SCTV back when it first aired on American TV, and I used to love its' comedy. However, for some reason I'd absolutely forgot, for decades, that Martin Short was part of SCTV back in the day. I guess for whatever reason he'd just never made that much of an impression on me from those days. However, I used to detest his "Jiminy Glick" character after SCTV. I couldn't stand that.

Clay's one of the millions of crappy local male musicians iin crappy local bands in the USA, playing for free drinks in local bars on Friday and Saturday nights, whose girlfriends, wives, and Moms are all arguing, and will go on arguing for years, that they'te going to sign contracts with record companies any time now, then have large hit singles and albums. While every Simon Cowell in the world, after listening to them play for an hour or two, knows that nothing they're playing has any chance of making any music chart, anywhere.
